i installed modloader+forge+Mystic Pack (http://www.minecraft...ns-mod-updates/) and after i added this one, client crashed after when i try to atak any block
This is awesome but may i suggest 2 things?
1. Add Support for Smart Moving so you can make the Movement things as Perks.
2. Make it so you can turn off making the books and they are all in the slots by default.

this is a pre-release. people don't make compatibilities with pre-releases. And making them in there by defualt is kinda cheating, especially if your playing legit survival.

3. The exp bar shouldent reflect points for enchanting. enchanting should have nothing to do with exp.
4. leveling up should be harder than it is now.
5. a new perk that lets you gives 5% chance per level of stealing creatures "souls" which will add onto a new bar at the side its like
the old EXP system for enchanting but it has a maximum of a 25% chance of getting exp. Dependant on the Creature killed it should
give more or less "EXP" or "Soul Power". This new bar should be tied to enchanting instead of the exp bar. the soul bar should be
blue.
6. Skills would each have their own exp bar and will level until 100. (You dont gain levels or Skill Experiance after hitting 100 meaning once you hit 100 in everything all the perks you have is what your keeping for the rest of that world cause you cant gain anymore EXP. Depressing? Yes. Balanced? Very.)
7. Skills would give EXP to the main EXP bar once you level that skill. (Only gain Perk Points from normal EXP leveling)
8. Use Minecraft Forge, Player API and ModloaderMP so its more integrated. (Hinting to please make it Multiplayer...)
9. Ill help program if you let me.
10. Integrate Smart Moving for the Acrobatics Skill.
11. Integrate Battle Craft for Combat Skill.
12. Perks have Level Requirements for Skill Level (Not Main Level or Skill Level and Main Level so its not Depressingly hard).
13. Alternate version of Combat and Acrobatics skills which do not include Smart Moving and Battle Craft for people who Dislike it.
Skills: Mining, Farming, Herblore, Acrobatics, Carpentry, Combat, Magic
Note: When i say "Skill Experiance" or "Skill EXP" I mean exp for the Skill and when I say "Experiance" or "EXP" I mean Experiance for your Main Level not the Skill.
Mining:
Mining would give experiance for each block mined, note that dependant on the block type it will give more or less. Only naturally occuring blocks give skill experiance. Smoothstone gives no experiance neither does cobble. This is a primary skill so it give Normal amounts of EXP. Doing this skill will give Steady EXP. This requires alot of Skill EXP to level.
Farming:
Farming is what Herblore is but Herblore is Potion Craft not Farming. Tilling, Planting and Sucessfully growing plants will give you Skill experiance. This would be the easiest to level and would give the least EXP.
This requires a Normal amount of Skill EXP to level.
Herblore:
Herblore is Potion Craft. Creating Potions and Ingesting Potion Ingrediants (This will give you very dull versions of their Effects and will not last long at all.) will give Experiance. You only get Skill Experiance for Ingesting Potion Ingrediants the First time so you know what they do. This would also give low amount of EXP not as little as Farming. This requires a normal amount of Skill EXP to level.
Acrobatics:
This would be Athletics but i like Acrobatics as its name better. This would also reflect Smart Moveing Mod's Acrobatics. This would have all the Original Athletics perks but also perks Pertaining to the things you can do in smart moving. A new Bar would show up while grabbing ledges called grip and it would be hands when it runs out your grip key doesnt work for 3 seconds making you fall or stop doing what ever you were doing.
Doing Acrobatics, Jumping, Sprinting and All around moving around without walking gives you experiance. This takes more Skill exp to level than most Skills.
Carpentry:
This would pertain to Crafting things in the Crafting Table and in your Inventory. This skill levels slowly just like Mining. One of the perks would be having a 3x3 in your inventory but it would be the last perk to get from this.
Combat:
Everying thing to do with Combat will level this. This is also a slow leveling skill like mineing. This would be the most Interactive Skill which could change the way you fight entirely. This counts as the Defense Skill as
well.
Magic:
I honestly dont know what to do with this. The ender arts thing seemed cool.
NOTE: i come up with ideas constantly im very imaginative and i know whats possible and not in programming but i may put things impossible just a leap of faith hopeing im wrong. If you ever run out of ideas or anything Im always around. For the next 2 years I will be free but then im going to be working for a few years. Im taking a Hiatus from working for the next 2 years but then im going to work for a while since i have a grid lock job which i will have NO time to help anymore after that.

I have a book idea, book of brawling. Crafted with a book. 1 porkchop and 1 zombie flesh.

Level 1. Increases the chance of a critical hit with you fist by 10% each time. increases to 5 levels. This skill splits to level 3-1 and level 2
level 2. When you have nothing in your hand you take 5% less damage. This skill point goes up to skill 3-2
level 3-1. When you have an empty hand you have a chance of deflecting arrows. Increases by 10% each time, can level up to 5.
level 3-2. When you have your fists drawn you have + knockback to mobs, this level increases to level 3. Basicly making you fist have knockback 1-3. This level goes to level 4
Level 4. When you have nothing in your hand and you jump to critical hit, red sparks appear and you do +80% damage. This level goes to Level 5
Level 5.When you have nothing in your hand you do + half a heart of damage with you fists. This level increases to 5, effectivly you can do 6 hearts of damage with you fist when this is full.
With all these skills at max, your fists can do more damage than a diamond sword. I didn't know whether to post it here or on the other post, so i posted them on both.
I have a suggestion for magic, make spells that say do damage, mine, water breathing for x amount of time etc or anything else you can think of, and make them spells for the skill books to then, upgrade damage, efficiency, time, and maybe even, magic bar. So, certain spells cost magic points. Good luck with this mod!
A new experience system is in development (well basically done we just have a few issues to work out).
This includes:
New type of XP (Glows red and purple, if you have any better color ideas please tell me. I know the red and purple could be hard to distinguish)
Bottle o' Skills (for giving yourself skills xp, only in creative)
Gain skills XP from mining, woodcutting, etc.

3. It won't reflect points for enchanting. We added a whole new XP system.
4. Leveling up will be harder. We made it easy so people could test the skills.
5. Souls you say? Not a bad idea. Maybe something like it.
6. We prefer to let you just instantly level if you have the skill points.
7. It's kind of vise versa where when you get xp from a mob (not xp that you drop when you die) it adds that xp to the skills xp bar.
8. We have debated MP and still aren't quite sure about it. The main issue is this mod completely overhauls some classes.
9. Stewiecraft and I are currently the only ones programming. Though if we do need more we could consider it.
10. Adding other mods to our own is not something we plan on doing but we may make some sort of bridge between the mods. I'm not really sure, I have no idea what smart moving is.
11. Yet again, adding other mods to our mod.
12. Not really in the theme of what we are trying to do.
13. That may be what we end up doing.
Haha you hit mining right on the money. Today, with the addition of our new xp system and xp orbs we tested and succeeded in having blocks drop xp. We already have stuff set up so only natural blocks do anything related to skills.
Herblore is more of farming in the case of this mod. Though in most games it is for potions. We may change the name to farming.
We will probably stick with athletics because that is what the skills we have now for it pertain to.
Good idea. Not quite sure if there is enough stuff that comes along with it to make it its own skill tree.

Magic is kind of an off thing from everything else but it has been considered.

Forge, because it edits so many files, is not compatible with our mod. Even though it is an api
I am merely asking whether or not they will update to 1.2.4 while it it still in heavy development, or if it will be updated once it's updated a bit more. Sorry if it didn't sound like that.
I can report that this seems to be compatible with Better Than Wolves, in the sense that it won't crash. However, a few BTW features involving plants won't work.
One of my friends refused to believe I made this and thinks I stole it because it looks so professional, thanks to Fluxigon's GUI textures.

Kinda pushy? It only just came out and i don't think mcp has updated so just stick with 1.2.3 or play 1.2.4 with only TMI or just legit.
I am merely asking whether or not they will update to 1.2.4 while it it still in heavy development, or if it will be updated once it's updated a bit more. Sorry if it didn't sound like that.
