@Fizzlebear, I can't find an animated clapping .gif worthy enough to represent my sheer awe of your stories. xD. I was so invested in them both, right up until their ends ^^. Five stars, my friend. I also had to rescue a herd from a ravine. It.. was not easy. The best I can recomment is to dig a tunnel down and light it, then wait for night fall. They'll move toward the light. Just remove the illumination so they keep moving up the tunnel and to the surface xD.

You see, my husband's computer has apparently decided that working is not something it's required to do before. As I had told Sen in a private message involving horse textures and other such wonderful things, it decides to randomly shut down. Usually it does this when I'm in the middle of writing something long. It's not that fun.
I think this has been the first time in a while I've actually been able to get on the computer, and although I can get minecraft to run and play my saved games, I have too many things going on to be able to actually enjoy them. I'd also wanted to expand Sen's horse textures as well, and with this abundant bussiness, it's apparently not in the cards either.
Hopefully however, I'll be able to get everything in the house back on track enough that I'll be able to make some textures, load in some more mods, and play the game. And, if there's time and something funny happens to me, I'll be sure to share it. =)
But again, thank you for enjoying the entertainment! It's actually the first time I've written something for fun and had someone else read it other than my husband since getting my degree in English last year, so it's actually made me interested in writing again!

@Odinzzz, For now, this mod does work with TerraFirmaCraft, to a degree. I'm nerfing the lasso recipe to not include a vanilla iron ingot, though.
@GaiusJuliusCaesar, there are spawn issues that I still need to hammer out. For now, try searching new worlds. Horses will spawn somewhere..
@PackerbackrGJ85, as Obsi said, this mod works with Mo' Creatures, but my horses use the vanilla saddle ^^;;

Two down, one to go (and boy, is this one a doozy). As you can see, I've finished the GUI for the wagon, which is now fully programmed (as far as Simply Horses is concerned). The wagon holds two large chests-worth of goods, and you navigate from one chest to another by clicking the arrows to the right.
Now, onto the Vardo. Inventory-wise, I'm thinking of nerfing it so that it holds one large chest, like the cart, in exchange for the advantage of being able to be slept through the night in (and, maybe, repel mobs). As you can imagine, the challenge for me now is integrating the bed mechanic into the Vardo. I did browse through the vanilla code and (apparently), this shouldn't be impossible to do. I'm not expecting it to be particularly easy, though. Wish me luck!

Hey, sorry I'm late, regarding my minecart idea, I had just pictured a scene in an old western movie (also in Back To The Future 3) where the hero guy gallops alongside the train so he can jump into it. I was going to suggest being able to lasso a horse to a minecart and then still being able to ride the horse (ea. following cargo). But, it turns out, you can ride a horse and a minecart at the same time!
Anyway, that gave me another idea for a "wild west" add-on or something. There could be different textures (ea. Native American painted horses), hitching posts, that sort of thing. Would it be possible to be able to lasso cows?
P.S: Don't forget that the nether brick fences need to be lasso-able.

Actually it looks a little better than their last horses,but too short to be called a horse,maybe a "slightly taller than pony" horse

The Gender Idea is a good one, would make breeding a little harder n more realistic
On another note I appear to be having more difficulties (Probably installed something wrong again) this time the icons for the mod appear to be missing. My TMI and Creative inventory say there are there but instead of icons there are just blank squares...

It's used to spawn horses, Avii added that because horses would despawn after one of the updates.
