Well, forgive me if I'm wrong, but there is a small chance dalek Caan survived the destruction of the crucible (Davros HAD to survive, there is no way a single character running since [Genesis Of The Daleks would die now) so we could probably meet him as a sort of "neutral ally", seeing as he DID dislike (and attempt to destroy) the daleks, but he also seems more or less neutral.

Its working for me, try clearing your search history, cookies and cache.
also try using Doctor Who Client Mod as the keywords
maybe apply the AI coding to a vanilla mob and show us what to expect?

also, as I was just watching "The Dalek That Time Forgot," (an AMAZING short by timelash)
i wondered- progenitors would appear randomly across the map. either the player, or a dalek,can collect these.they will cause creepers to attack them, thus making them rarer. right-clicking with a progenitor will spawn a single red dalek drone. they will not work completely in survival, as the dalek will exterminate you. however,in creative mode, the daleks you spawn will obey you, similarly to wolves. right-clicking a dalek drone created by the player will deactivate it.

No, I'm not some n00b that makes there username have to do with the game they're playing. There were no Endermen in Alpha. N00bs.

Lol well, I get what you mean. And yes, there will be versions for at least mac. We most likely wont be doing Linux until AFTER the mod has been released.
But as it stands, things are still in pieces and not ready for a version the modelers or myself can play or have on our computers. So having yofreke code 3 different variations of the mod at once before there is anything coherent....isnt really....smart. :smile.gif:
When we open testing. it will be in groups of 5 people. A closed alpha with our own username authentication system to prevent people who havent been authorized to use the mod from using it during the alpha phase. ( yofrekes initial plan for the auth system was having it locked to a single mac address. I talked him down to username.)
The thing is, the mod....is more than just a mod. We are practically building a new game out of minecraft. And as such we have big plans. Yof and myself talked a little last night about what we could do for a SMP version and the commnity.

I think this ,with a little tweaking, could be a good addision!

Mod Division Intro
The Yet To be fully revealed soundtrack for the Doctor Who mod is an extremely new thing to minecraft. The mod will detect what kind of situation you are in and select a song that was pre-designated for that kind of situation. In the case of an extreme stressful or alot of activity (being chased by a hostile mob) the song All the Strange Strange Creatures may be selected to play. We knew from the start that the mod would need doctor who soundtrack music in it but an issue that most dont realize is that the mod cant use Doctor Who Soundtrack music without falling under some serious copyright infringement cases. So it occured to me, TheiKing, that since i have 14 years experience with musical instruments that I would take a...."stab" at recreating all the Doctor Who Soundtracks, along with Sarah Jane Adventures Soundtrack, and Torchwood Soundtracks. So what I did was take out my dusty old USB Keyboard, set up two iPads with garage band on my desk and started recreating the mass amounts of soundtrack music note by note. I must say that these tracks have come out amazingly.

If you guys are wondering why we havent been posting alot its because we are working on the SEAI System (smart entity artificial intelligence system) and the first planet that we are working on the terrain. I cant tell you what it is...the only thing I can tell you about it is that when you see it....your mouth will water for it :smile.gif:

UNIT may/may not be added but we are focusing on finishing the backlog of Smart Entities we have built up while working on the time vortex. Currently Yofreke, Con_Number_1, and myself are going to devote our time to starting and finishing the first solar systen we have planned :smile.gif:

Shouldn't it work on any system? Unless you need some .dll files or anything it should retain Java's portability, correct?
