I would like to suggest a special painting. An image of a Weeping Angel. It would either be dropped by an Angel or just be another painting. If looked away from it would change position (eyes covered, eyes not covered, teeth bared, etc) and have a chance of spawning a Weeping Angel. After all, the image of an Angel becomes itself an Angel. :ohmy.gif:

Lol while the idea is kinda intriguing its.....unrealistic that a weeping angle would be able to paint let alone drop a painting
Even if you did have a picture of a Weeping angel, as it's Minecraft you will have to hang it up for it to work, which if you want to live and not die from randomly spawning angels then no-one would hang it up...

for me its about 9:00 you have 3 more hours for me to get the daily report up for today but you late for the uk for them its about 2:00

The Daily Report is a well.....daily post that will announce at least one feature a day.
What will be announced in the Daily Report?
Anything to a specific mob, main feature, secondary feature, ore, item or function.
When will the Daily Report be posted?
Any weekday in which we have new content to share TheiKing will post in the time frame of 5:00 am - 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time
How Do we Know what categories are going to be for that day?
After the 1/1/12 Daily Report I decided that we needed a schedule for which categories will be covered on that specific day
Monday: Doctor Who Client Mod Soundtrack by TheiKing (Two 25 Second Clips of a custom recreated track)
Tuesday: Secondary Features (Brand New information or updates on new or existing items, ores, functions etc...)
Wednesday: Doctor Who Client Mod Soundtrack by TheiKing (Two 25 Second Clips of a custom recreated track)
Thursday: Mobs (Brand New information or updates on new or existing Mobs and their features) [
Friday: Free for All (Wild Card Day) (Fridays will contain any category of information to be released from any of the following categories, Soundtrack Music, Secondary Features, Mobs, Main Features)

SMART ENTITY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM What is it? The Smart Entity System is an entire new approach to how entities (mobs) are handled within the game of Minecraft. It allows for a nearly limitless cap of possibilities for any creature within the game, and enables most of these possibilities with staggering ease of both application and use.
What does it do?
The simplest way for me to explain some of the features is with a list.
- Path-finding (to a block, following an entity, break blocks to get to destination, weighted blocks)
- Inventory (full customization of size)
- World interactions (break and place blocks)
- Action queue (ability to handle standard and custom actions in a way never seen before)
- Support for variance in size
- Loads more features
What are some features that will be seen in its future?

- Emotion based decisions (exmotions will be affected by events that happen to the entity in question. emotions include but are not limited to: anger, love, greed, friendship, revenge)
What are some examples of its usage in the game? Currently we are employing the Smart Entity System for most of the entities in the Doctor Who Client Mod by the iKingsSGC™ Mod Division. This is in an effort to give the player an entire new realm to play in, a place where your decisions regarding living elements of the world have a more direct impact on your game-play.
What does the future of the system look like as a whole? This system will continue to be developed and custom tailored to the Doctor Who Mod as well as the Stargate: Chevron 7 Client Mod, both mods being developed by the iKingsSGC™ Mod Division. This will hopefully bring the system as a whole to a very usable level for other developers, which will gain access (in the form of some kind of API) after a few months of the Doctor Who Client Mod's release. This system is not one that we wish to hold back for too long, as it would provide the entire Minecraft modding community with a revolutionary tool that will change the way minecraft modding for mobs is done.
Mods that could possibly benefit from the release of this code are: army mods creating intelligent levels of command, rpg mods creating quests and a dynamic world, fantasy mods that want to have intelligent or mischievous entities interact with the player. We think that it would be unfair to the community to not give these mods the ability to create something great (after we have basked in its glory some, of course).

1. Will you be releasing the AI system for other mod-makers to use?
2. Nex time you make a daily report, could you put some things in [spoiler]s? Maybe, like, the part you explain what the daily report is? That way you take up a lot less space on a page.

Yes, the Smart Entity AI System will benifit the modding community on minecraft greatly. We are trying to get the SEAI system more well known now because well.....a day before we released the official details on what SEAI does Mojang convieniently releases a statment saying they will be improving their system for the squidwards. But even so their new system wont be able to even hold a candle to yofreke AI, its njust not possible. SEAI does more than just allow for blocks to be placed and picked up by varieties of mobs. It gives mobs a brain, it challenges the player and makes gameplay so much more realistic when dealing with mob interactions. Take the daleks for example, they mine for specific ores whenever theyy run out in their inventories while constructing their own buildings. Its really amazing and I look forward to how mojang "plans to compete" with the Smart Entity Artifical Intelligence System.....hell even the name sounds epic :biggrin.gif:

Yes, in yesterdays Daily post it stated that a few months after the Doctor Who Client Mod has been released the Mod Division will release a API for the Smart Entity Artifical Intellegence System. This not only gives us a chance to as yofreke described it "bask in the glory" a little bit, but it will give us the chance to work out the kinks that would come with an API
