On October 17th, 2011... A mod which became a one of a kind, and in my opinion, legendary mod, was born.
It was this one, now discontinued nearly ten years later.
We all more than likely were just kids when this mod came out. Forge wasn't even a thing yet that the general public knew about that much, so it was not intended to become compatible at the time.
Fast forward to January 30th, 2020, which is today, the present day. I've seen attempts to make the Nether and Overworld into one, but they never really succeed due to them always having to have a loading screen.
If anything, the Nether in 2011, was never intended to be under the surface world, due to issues with performance, lag, and more. This was a one of a kind mod release.
Now in 2020, I've been waiting for almost ten years for a question to be answered since the reveal of the Nether on October 30th, 2011.
Was it intended to even be a dimension... at all? Was it meant to be under the surface world in the original release, or not?
