Mod joins 2-5 dimensions into one, with total 640 blocks height. Portals are working with a fasttravel world.
In 20-21 October 2011 i spend two days, slept only 6 hours and finally did the prototype!
There are some minor bugs, but general functions are working.
All perfomance problems are fixed, no need to install Optifine (my optimizations is not compatible with it)
Dimension stored folders named DIM-"dimension name", but nether is DIM-1 and skylands are DIM-2.
Plans for the near future (i will do it anyway):
Move to Minecraft 1.0
Add Moon, Mars, Ice, TwilightForest and Aether using the MineUpDimensionAPI
Fix compatibility with Forge

Tips:
You may use a single-player or adventure maps at any dimension, just rewrite its files.
You may use your old save, create new game with customized worlds and then copy "layers.dat" file from new save to the old.
You can open any part of the world with MCEdit, if you copy "level.dat" to "DIM-dimensionname" folder and OPEN THIS FILE with mcedit.
Snowball change the gravity.

This is the most...realistic mod I've seen so far. Should definitely be in the standard Minecraft as an option.

This mod is definitly awesome. If you can manage to make it modloader/compatible with other mods, this'll be my priority no.1 mod ^-^

I'm guessing the problem lies with the aam file. Is it possible to merge it with the ModLoader one? Would sux if you can't make it ModLoader compatible.

That's Sky Dimension, Notch updated it to "THE END" in 1.9.
After migration to 1.9 "THE END" will be at this height :smile.gif:
