Hey Jonah.
I do not know if you got my email, so I am going to repeat some of my ideas on here (Slightly Modified).
To start off, this looks great so far! However, I have a few ideas to add to your list/change.
1. your cobble idea is nice, but in reality, one bucket of lava and water will create infinite cobble, if you have patience. My idea for this is to create a machine, similar to the furnace, but with a built in chest. Slowly, it would generate cobble, and lets just say that it would make 1 cobble every 3 seconds. With that, it would automatically be places into its built-in small chest. This way, it could only hold 27 stacks, which would take about 1.4 hours to fill completely. With many of these running at once, cobble will not be a problem, it just would take a while.
2. Slimeball creation- I love the idea of being able to craft slime balls, even more ever since slimeballs are required to make sticky pistons. My only thought about your current recipe is that there is nothing to give it the green color. I was thinking that there should be a cactus green (or similar) instead of the bonemeal, but keep the rest of the recipe the same.
3. As for the slime types, Perhaps you could introduce the old type of slime again (the notch head slimes). If you would like a person to help with the texturing, I am actually working on my own texture pack, and I would gladly add in your rendered items (if you would want me to, anyway...)
4. If you need another mac tester, I am here. I actually have java jdk 1.7, in case you want to have some more universal support. Feel free to contact me regarding any of these ideas!

I am in the process of changing the slime recipe, the only reason why it was bonemeal was because when you have colored dye its harder to get the code to work. I love your idea for the cobble generating machine, and I will start coding that this week. If I need any more help with texturing I will definitely ask you.
New Ideas:
1. A forge Old article could be used to add in even more ingots, such as bronze, titanium, steel and the like. This may require the addition of a few ores. I was also thinking of adding in "tempered" metal. put it through the furnace/forge a second time, and the durability would be increased by something like 10-15%.
2. Mossy cobble conditional spawning. If a substantial amount of mossy cobble (3x3 or larger) is placed in a dark area, perhaps the chance of a hostile mob spawning could be increased. This could lead to increased efficiency mob grinders.
3. Obsidian armor... no explanation possible
4. Meat grinder Allows you to grind your meat for hamburgers. (Requites cooking)
I find the obsidian to be a bit cheating, but, it doesnt mean people have to get it that way :tongue.gif:
i like the mod, especially a way to finally make mossy cobble :3
The whole idea of this mod coming into place was my frustration while trying to mine obsidian on the server. I just shouted into chat "I'm going off to make a mod where I can go and craft my own freaking obsidian" and that's what happened. Now it has started to expand past that.
New dev build release coming tomorrow! I bet none of you are excited!
I am excited!
Also, I am working on a quick GUI screen for the cobblestone generator. I have a quick question regarding it... would it be better if there were multiple slots for both lava and water? If you have more slots full, the faster the cobblestone will generate. Any thoughts?

Thank you for pointing that out to me. I have fixed it. I love your signature about the binary :smile.gif:

EDIT: here is a 5 minute mockup of what I was thinking.

Turns out there are problems with the release. I'm working on the code, but currently it causes crashes. Will be functional soon hopefully
Also, I like your GUI idea, but I think I'm just going to stick with my original plan for it
alright! sounds good.
