Poll: The name of that mod should be different from Ships&Boats and Ph
We have agreed with Eagle_Orion, creator of PhysicsCraft, and Shereis, to join forces to make a mod featuring physics from PhysicsCraft and also the rendering and block interaction facilities of Ships&Boats.
At the moment, I am trying to update this mod again! I am having a hard time doing so, but I hope I will succeed:)
I wish you the best of luck, I don't think its possible with what was included with this mod, the new Minecraft architecture changed too much stuff, if you get it to work again, I know a lot of people will enjoy it (including myself) but I know we can dream, especially if you're only a 14-18 yrs old that just learned to program in java...

I know how complex this mod is, it will be very hard, but possible. IF you complete it before you decide to drop out of it, please post a link to the forum.
Yup, looks like a good replacement, but there is also Archimedes Ships that isn't bad at all, now support passengers with a seat you can add to your ship...

Yeah, but you can't walk around on your ship and Cuchaz's mod has better physics and doesn't need passenger seats.

also for me it lags a lot, and cuchaz did say that their will be air ships and U-Boats, PLus he also said at the official release their will be no limit to the amount of blocks for the ship (like ships and boats)

Good luck for the no limits, actually you can change the block limits for Archimedes ships and such, but watchout, you'll need a serious beast of a server and a serious beast PC to support that. I would say the max an average PC can handle without problems would be 1024 blocks, the limit set to 2048 is a little bit too much if you don't have a good computer.

With the right optimizations in place, large ships can be handled without lag. =)
After my latest round of optimizations, my mod can handle ships with 1000 blocks with no noticeable drop in FPS. I'm planning to raise the block cap even higher in the next version.
PLZ UPTATE THIS MOD TO 1.7.10,im making modpack and i want this mod to be in there.also add more physics to submarines,like when they go to deep they will start braking,also remove thing that its filled with water when u dive,its annoying.pz add thing when you click f5,it will show sub in it.can you add in oxxygen generators to,cuz in real life you will run out of air prytty quick.also i need weapons like torpedos,machine guns and bombs,so you can batle with your friends.could be nice
i like subs and i like this mod,good for exploring underwater

This mod was discontinued a LONG time ago. You begging him to update it wont do anything. He was no longer able to keep the mod updated, the mod was amazing while it lasted. The mod author wont likely be updating this mod. I suggest either code it yourself, or use Ships mod by cuchaz. Of course, it doesnt have submarines or airships, but its still leagues better then archimedes

Still being worked on, and http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1910836-ships-mod-build-sailable-ships-out-of-blocks/ is a pretty decent mod, too.
