Welcome to Town Defender! (could use a better name)
The visual theme of new objects* will range from post apocalyptic to high-end tech for each upgrade
IE: level 1 looks crappy while level 3 looks legitimately high-tech.
*when mod is complete I'd like to get an official texture pack made as well

2 basic town classes with 3 variants for each class
2 basic mine classes with 2 variants for each class
1 basic outpost classes with 2 variants
Mobs
2 new mobs, basic villager and a high-tech militant

Town Classes ALL: will have boxes with parts needed for building/upgrading defenses
ALIVE: Town has villagers and working defenses
DEAD: Town has enemies and none working defenses
Variants
Tech level 1 only Villagers
Tech level 3 Mostly Villager, one or two militant
Tech level 5 Only militant
*would like to add a karma meter as well, if you attack a villager/base defense, the entire village becomes hostile
Mine Classes
ALIVE: Mine has villagers and working defenses
DEAD: Mine has enemies and none working defenses
Variants
Tech level 1 only villagers
Tech level 3 Mostly villagers, one or two militant
Outposts:
ALIVE: Outpost has Militants and 1 or 2 defenses
DEAD: Outpost will be void of villagers and mobs, defenses broken
Base Defenses:
*the reason to make these as mob spawners is so they are self repairing and can attack on their own free will
unlike a dispenser requires you to manually operate it.
+Turrets: these will be basic mob spawners but the mob wont be able to move.
The mob wont look like a living entity but a turret of some kind, massive crossbow, flamethrower, you
get the idea.
-these turrets will be upgradeable but I'd like to make it a sacrifice to do it, meaning it takes awhile
to gain the necessary parts
(maybe use the enchanting table?)
+Weapons: I'd like to have different classes of weapons too
Class 1 would be the bow
class 2 could be a pistol
Class 3 could be an automatic rifle
*the swords are ok IMO but we could do a re-skin on those as well, maybe use the enchantment table to
give the swords and guns elemental properties,
-fire: sets things on fire
-explosive: knocks back enemy and destroys blocks (only one block at a time
and nothing stronger than stone)
-could keep going but you get the idea
+Armor: Eventually have different armor types that give special abilities
-fire resistance
-speed increase
-melee damage increase
