Ooo, let's try this.
However, it means I'll have to go back to 1.8.1... shame...
Also, like I said earlier, if you wish, I could help with textures, sounds, maybe even a little coding, beta testing, ideas, whatever. I wanna be in on the action! :biggrin.gif:
EDIT:
After some testing, I came up with these results:
1: The weapons worked fine. However, I failed to notice if they were stronger than diamond weapons or not. Are they?
2: The ender staff and the armour didn't appear on the creative list. Neither did the enderblock.
3:However, I crafted the enderblock. Interesting, but I don't think having the endermans face on one side was necessary. Seeing as it's made from ender pearls, maybe make it the same texture as a diamond/gold/iron block, but with a dark aqua colouring?
4: Without the ender staff, I could not access the ender realm. Maybe put how-to-crafts on the main post of this thread, along with the download link for others?
But still, great start. This mod has a bright future.
And in response to your texture pack editor request, try Paint.Net. Basically, a free, watered down version of photoshop with hundreds of addons able to be downloaded from their forum. Link: http://www.getpaint.net/
Enjoy :smile.gif:
(Still requesting to be a part of your team :tongue.gif:)
We could use some help and the textures i asked someone for since I couldnt find a good picture editor thingy and he said its ok so i just went with it the only things added was
1: EnderBlock
2: Weapons
the reason why i didnt add enderstaff or EnderRealm was because it was VERY glitchy so i decided not to add and because i had a crash on my laptop we lost a few things (EnderHelm, EnderStaff,Etc) but we could very well use a coder and texture artist if youd like to join our team :biggrin.gif: my friend is currently on vacation with his friends in missouri so I could use all the help i can get

I got textures under Control now but you can still help with it and coding and ideas
im also needing a person or two to make a banner nad advertise this (not spam please lol) since I cant code worth crap (XD) We could use help with the editing
sounds great and all but its a little much for just one mob and all and notch is making endermen stronger in 1.10
maybe just weapons and armour but I like the necklace idea as long as i can see the necklace or that idea is as bad as jewellery in the aether (I HATE THAT MOD) and its and its a tad sinister however this mod could become the next better than wolfs mod soooo hurry up and finish it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-No, not too much for one mob. Never enough for the endermen!
-And he's making them stronger in 1.9, not 1.10. I had to downgrade from 1.9pre2 to 1.8.1 to run this mod, and in 1.9pre2, they are stronger.
-Well, you don't HAVE to wear jewelery if we make it. It could be purely aesthetic.
-Tad sinister? With my plans, it's going to be more than that.
-I don't think this mod will go the same direction as the better than wolves mod, that's more focused on advancment in technology. This is some backstory behind the endermen, in the form of a mod.
-We'll finish it in due time, don't worry, but it won't be finished too soon. Big mods requite big time.
Also, if your username is supposed to be the pokemon, it's spelled 'Zoroark', with a 'k' :tongue.gif:
No, I hadn't. I just read it, and it seems you have the same general idea but are way ahead of us in terms of ideas. Well done :tongue.gif:
I would ask if you would wish to merge this mod with yours, but it seems someone has volunteered to make your idea into their own mod. Shame :/
Sinister? Well, read the suggestions thread for some of my sinister plans.
(Sorry for double post)
This is a list I've put in the suggestions thread. However, since I'm on the team, it's more an incomplete feature list rather than a suggestion list.
~~Blocks, trees and Items~~
-Enderdirt
Same as your average dirt, just darker. The colour varies depending on the biome, but instead of the grass colour varying (In this realm it remains a constant really dark grey), the soil colour varies, from light grey, to the same shade as the grass. It is also slightly more sturdy than your average dirt.
This is the dirt that Arachenders look like, by the way. However, their colour doesn't vary, and so you could use that as a guide to spotting them.
And by the way, it is oh-so-loved by Endermen. Then again, the Endermen love every single block in this dimension.
-Enderstone
Just a darker version of your generic overworld stone. Like the overworld stone, it drops Endercobble when mined. However, it must be mined with a diamond pickaxe or higher for it to be mined at a normal speed, and for it to drop Endercobble. Else, it takes ages to mine it, and it doesn't drop anything.
-Endercobble
The block that is obtained when Enderstone is mined. It is used to make Endercobble tools, which have the same mining speed as diamond tools but less durability (The same as iron). How that works when it took a diamond pickaxe to mine them, nobody knows.
It can also be found in Forlorn Temples, Wraith Dungeons and Ancient Spires. However, it is not found in Chaos Pits or Shadow Palaces, as they are too good for it.
-Despair Sand
This is basically a variant of Soul Sand. You know, the annoying stuff found in the Nether. It even looks similar, but there are some differences:
It is affected by gravity
It has a darker look
It doesn't slow you down when you walk in it (You still sink a little and be unable to jump, however)
The chances for a Shadistic to spawn on it is higher than any other surface
It releases particles similar to those of Endermen when stepped on
When stepped on, fog similar to what seen at bedrock level is seen
-Enderpearl Ore
Guess what happens when you mine this?
You get Ender...
...chips.
Yea, Enderpearl Chips. Or Fragments, if you wish.
You need to smelt these into Enderpearl Nuggets.
You can then combine four of these (in a square) into an Ender Pearl that we all know and love!
Or, you could combine two Ender Nuggets (side my side) to create an Enderpearl Ingot.
-Enderpearl Chips
These are useless until smelted. When they are smelted, they become Enderpearl Nuggets.
-Enderpearl Nuggets
These can be combined in a square of four to create an Ender Pearl. Or, two can be crafted together (they need to be side by side) to crate an Enderpearl Ingot.
-Enderpearl Ingot
You'd think these would make weapons of some kind, right?
You'd be wrong.
Instead, these can be used to create several other things. An example is combining 8 of these around a Chaox Torch.
-Chaox Torch
When you get a Chaos Flame and put it atop of an Ender Stick, you get four of these torches. These torches are better than average torches, and can also be used to power redstone! As mentioned earlier, when you put 8 Enderpearl Ingots around one of these, you get something. And that thing is a Pearl Sapling.
-Pearl Sapling
These saplings can only be found from crafting, and do not exist in the dimension naturally. Do not ask how you can craft a substance similar to pearl onto a torch to create something natural.
Make sure to tend to them the same way as a normal sapling, but do remember it is perpetual night in the Ender Realm, so Chaox Torches are a must (Or normal torches, but it will be slower growing). When they grow up, you get Pearl Trees.
-Pearl Tree
These look the same as normal trees, but they are slightly taller with a different, darker colour scheme.
And the leaves hurt on touch.
Also, the wood of the tree is really hard, due to the fact that there are veins of Ender Pearl throughout the tree. Only an Ender Axe will be enough to chop it down.
-Pearl Logs
These blocks make up the wood of the Pearl Trees. They can only be cut with an Ender Axe, and provide a block of Pearlwood Planks, just as a normal log provides normal planks. Sometimes, they may also drop Ender Chips, if you're lucky.
-Pearl Leaves
These are the leaves of Pearl Trees. They have the same effect of cactus in that touching them causes damage. They can also (sometimes-rarely) drop Pearl Saplings. They are fairly hard, taking a little longer to be cut down than usual. This hardness means they cannot be sheared.
-Pearlwood Planks
These are basically the planks on the Ender Realm. However, You cannot get Ender Sticks from them. Instead, you get Themper Sticks.
-Themper Sticks
Consider these the unpure form of Ender Sticks. They need to be purified with a Pure Furnace. Then, they turn into Ender Sticks, and leave behind Pearlwood Shavings.
-Pure Furnace
Created the same way one would create a normal furnace (But with Endercobble instead), these act the same way as normal furnaces, but instead purify objects. They have two output slots, and two input slots (one for what is to be purified, and one for the purifier). The process of purification, basically, is something being extracted from an unpurity. This usually leaves two results: The purity, and the discharge. Themper Sticks are a good example. Put the purifier you wish in the bottom left slot, and the Themper Sticks in the top left slot. Once purified, there are two results: Ender Sticks, and Pearlwood Shavings, which is the wood that was discharged from the Themper Sticks to make them pure.
-Pearlwood Shavings
These are basically a special version of Bonemeal. They can only be used on Pearl Saplings, however. Use these when you want your tree NOW.
However, there is a special ability for Pearlwood Shavings: They are the only way Pearl Saplings will grow in the overworld! Yup, you could leave a Pearl Sapling in the ground forever in the overworld, and you would have no success. But use Pearlwood Shavings on it, and it grows!
Ever seen Doctor Who? Ever seen the episode 'Blink', or maybe 'The Time of Angels'?. If so, then you will know of the Weeping Angels.
These creatures are similar.
They wander around until you get within their range, in which they turn and stare at you. But you won't notice.
They're invisible. (And they don't make footstep sounds. They make idle noises, but only when REALLY close. Like, 2 or 3 blocks away)
Until you rest your crosshair on them. Then, they become visible, and unable to move at all.
Take your cursor off them, however, and they become invisible.
And angry.
They move towards you, at the speed of a spider (if not faster). If you put your crosshair on them again, they become visible and unable to move.
They are immune to all damage when visible. And you can't hit them when they're invisible. They don't die from fall damage, or from being buried alive, or from drowning, or from burning, or anything.
So how do you kill them?
The answer - Traps.
They can't fly, or teleport, and they can only jump one block.
So trap them.
Easiest way, make a pit that's 2 squares deep. They have general logic to avoid falling, however, so you will need to be a little more inventive than that.
Then, leave them be, and they despawn.
-Banshees
Spawn rate: Medium
Damage: 2 and a half hearts
Health: 15 hearts
Drops:
Ghost Essence (0-2)
Ender Nuggets (1-2)
Silence.
That's the noise these creatures make. Silence.
Therefore, if you're not looking, there is no way of telling where they are.
Unless you happen to wander into the range of one.
You'll then soon know where one is.
As soon as you look behind you.
Why?
Because it will be standing right behind you.
And as soon as you look at it, it will scream loudly, attack you once, then teleport far away.
So you don't really have long to kill it.
But if you do, you will be rewarded nicely.
-EnderSlime (suggestion by BlueGuy9112)
Spawn rate: Rare (Same as slimes in that they spawn only in caverns, but they can spawn in any chunk. They can also spawn at any size)
Damage:
~Huge: 5 hearts
~Big: 4 hearts
~Medium: 3 hearts
~Small: 2 hearts
~Tiny: 1 heart
Health:
~Huge: 25 hearts
~Large: 20 hearts
~ Medium: 15 hearts
~Small: 10 hearts
~Tiny: 5 hearts
Drops: Dark Plasma
Think of your average Slime.
Now make it climb up walls and chill at the top (if there's a roof at the top of the wall. If there isn't, then it will climb over and continue up the next one) when idle.
Now, make it jump down near you when you enter the cavern and ambush you.
...
Yes, they seem overpowered, but do remember that being in this alternate dimension of the Endermen is dangerous.
However, they're slow, so you can easily run away and down them with arrows.
They also make the same noises as normal slimes, but a bit quieter.
These.
Things.
Are.
Creepy.
Endelta are dark, flying creatures that look like wraiths and ghosts sometimes seen in other minecraft mods (In that their lower half is just torn clothes, and they have no legs). They have spines on their back which rotate.
As do the arms.
And the head.
The head had 4 different faces on it. One coloured bright red, one coloured purple, one coloured green, and one coloured white. (Note that these are the four different colours Endermens eyes have been through - originally white, then changed to green [and red when angered], and now purple :biggrin.gif:) Each of these faces house a different expression: One that looks like the face on pumpkins but with evil looking eyes, one that looks like a Creepers face, one that looks like an Endermans face, and one that has Steve's face, whose mouth is curved into a smile on one side.
These creatures have an idle sound that does NOT stop playing. It is a continuous loop.
It's a song, actually.
In fact, they sound exactly like a jack-in-the-box.
Of course, getting louder as they slowly hover closer.
If they manage to reach you, they'll attack like any normal mob.
However, placing your crosshair on them (maybe even having your crosshair near them, if I can figure out how to code that), will cause them to float on the spot and shake for a second, before rushing at you with astounding speed, stopping only when they reach you. When they do, you are instantly damaged (for 3 and a half hearts!) and are sent flying back. They then continue advancing as normal.
Just imagine, exploring a cave, and then hearing a faint jack-in-the-box slowly getting louder?
Enjoy your sleep.
What's better than a fast, more aggressive, hard-to-see variant of the normal Spider?
A fast, more aggressive, hard-to-see variant of the normal Spider that seemingly comes from nowhere by transforming from those blocks on the ground which you thought was dirt.
That's right, when in idle, it appears as 9 blocks of dirt in a square shape.
Get close, however, and it 'rearranges' itself into a Spider. A black-with-glowing-purple-eyes Spider.
However, apart from the surprise appearance it makes, it's not that much different, aside from being faster and doing more damage. It even makes the same noises.
Sorry, no teleporting, flying, fire breathing spiders.
More coming soon!...maybe.
~~Misc~~
-Shadistic
Technically, this is a mob, but there are a few things different that set it apart from normal mobs. Oh, and they can't be killed. Falling sand and gravel get destroyed on contact with them, like the Weeping Enders.
Basically, Shadistic are slow moving, eerie sounding (They have the same sound effect as the wind-like cave ambiance, which you can only hear when 10 blocks away. You'll know it's Shadistic and not actual ambiance because it will play a lot more) creatures that snuff out light.
Yep, they disable any light source they're near (maximum 3 blocks away from them, including vertical).
This makes them hell when you're exploring a cave and putting torches up to light the area.
If you get close-ish to them, they start following you, and emitting dark matter, which are invisible blocks that turn the lighting down around them to nearly pitch black.
What do the Shadistic look like?
Imagine a moving mass of absolute black snow tiles. Each one is made up of one (sometimes two) tile/s, but they often hang in groups close together, making them seem like a large entity of... black.
And sometimes, these groups are huge, composed of over 20 individual Shadistic.
They cannot attack you directly, but if you walk on them, you take the same damage as if you were touching cactus. Also, while walking on them, your vision slowly becomes darker and darker, depending on how much health you have. At half a heart, your vision is basically pitch black, even if there is a light source nearby.
Eventually, it despawns, but only if the player is far away enough, as usual.
-Forlorn Temples
These large temples hold several rooms, each with a mob spawner. At the end of the temple are two or three chests, guarded by two mob spawners.
-Wraith Dungeons
These are the dungeons of the Ender Realm, but they don't open out into a cave. They are completely sealed on all sides. They sometimes have traps in them too, which makes things interesting.
-Ancient Spires
Made of dozens of small rooms stacked upon each other with only stairs to go up, these towers are a definite challenge for those who wish to attempt to claim the prizes at the top. However, once you open the chest (or destroy it, but then its items will fall down a loooong pit), you may want to get out real soon.
Why?
Because you'll die if you don't.
Mining downwards might be a good idea.
-Chaos Pits
Think of a large, circular form of a ravine with some outjuts, a staircase down, and a fair few lava leaks in the walls. It goes all the way down to bedrock, and has monster spawners and chests on some of the outjuts. At the bottom, however, there are several Endelta spawners. By several, I mean anywhere from 3 to 10. Of course, there are multiple chests down there too, but you're going to want to turn down the sound (or even turn it off) to prevent yourself from going crazy from the sheer amount of jack-in-the-box tunes playing. And without your sound, you have no idea how close they are, unless you look at them.
Which, as I explained earlier, is a BAD idea.
-Shadow Palaces
These things are HUGE.
Shadow palaces are gigantic, multi roomed structures with a chest or two sometimes, and a large loot at the end.
And there is no lighting at all.
Feel free to try and provide some light yourself.
Just remember that the floor has a lot of squares of Despair Sand.
And that one second you could be exploring, the next, you could find yourself in the dark.
And surrounded by Shadistic.
Good luck.

Good luck.
woah lots of ideas lol and I LOVE THE BANNER MAN :biggrin.gif: anyways this just spouted like a weed lol cant wait to see the other topic i started yesterday lol the ideas i havent read yet but i will update on them when i read them all
sounds great and all but its a little much for just one mob and all and notch is making endermen stronger in 1.10
maybe just weapons and armour but I like the necklace idea as long as i can see the necklace or that idea is as bad as jewellery in the aether (I HATE THAT MOD) and its and its a tad sinister however this mod could become the next better than wolfs mod soooo hurry up and finish it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the necklace is sorta being thrown around for ideas currently so its probably going to be added
ideas thus far for it (this is a LONG list but heres a few)
(me) EnderNecklace should let you throw dark orbs at enderman
(RyanxXx)no it should allow you to keep your Sanity in the EnderRealm
(Kelsey94)maybe it could make enderman not kill you if you hit them since the Disguise makes them follow you but not be tamed
(RyanxXx)eh... what about it making your health stronger and your food bar stronger? same with armor
(me) thats ok we'll add but what other uses?
this goes on for a while lol
DAMN spinning spines heads and arms the hell is this the grudge?
lol seriously though i love EVERY idea in this al really creepy and Imaginative its like Disney if it joined Forces with Satan how delightfully horrific this is going on the list
You'll know it's Shadistic and not actual ambiance because it will play a lot more) creatures that snuff out light.

hahaha sounds purely sadistic xD the banshee sounds alot like the stalker from mah suggestion :tongue.gif: screaming and turning around to see something is always terrifying i spose xD is there any ideas for a boss like creature you can summon? :3 lovin the idea, freakin amazing ^-^
i havent rlly heard from the guys who decided to make my mod idea real :/ feel free to tweak a few ideas and claim them as your own if u like any of em x)
Well actually, I've had the idea for the Banshee for ages. Seems as if you just has a similar idea.
I actually did note that your idea was similar to mine, so I had to modify my idea a little xD
Summon a boss creature, the same way you would summon Death from your idea?
Maybe.
But I was thinking less summon, more find.
If you continue to not hear from the people who wanted to make your mod, then feel free to come over to this group. we would incorporate all your ideas. Then, you could continue giving ideas, and we would attempt to implement them.
Yes, including your Death Call :tongue.gif:

Ill remember to do so if nothing happens with these people :tongue.gif: yeah seems like it wud be just a simalar idea, because who wouldnt want to make a monster that stands behind you and screams if theyre making something scary? its freakin terrifying o.o yea finding bosses would make sense, but i didnt think finding death wouldnt make much sense tho, unless it was in a graveyard or something :/ thisll make people who say 'the endermans not scary!' think twice me thinks >8)
Death would be summonable, while other bosses would be found.
Yes, this will make the endermen much scarier.
Especially as I plan to make them disassemble your portal if you get far away enough from it >=D
We could use some help and the textures i asked someone for since I couldnt find a good picture editor thingy and he said its ok so i just went with it the only things added was
1: EnderBlock
2: Weapons
the reason why i didnt add enderstaff or EnderRealm was because it was VERY glitchy so i decided not to add and because i had a crash on my laptop we lost a few things (EnderHelm, EnderStaff,Etc) but we could very well use a coder and texture artist if youd like to join our team :biggrin.gif: my friend is currently on vacation with his friends in missouri so I could use all the help i can get
:biggrin.gif:
I got textures under Control now but you can still help with it and coding and ideas
im also needing a person or two to make a banner nad advertise this (not spam please lol) since I cant code worth crap (XD) We could use help with the editing
HELL YES.
I shall make that banner right now :biggrin.gif:
Thanks Cant Wait To see It :biggrin.gif:
Is it good enough?
maybe just weapons and armour but I like the necklace idea as long as i can see the necklace or that idea is as bad as jewellery in the aether (I HATE THAT MOD) and its and its a tad sinister however this mod could become the next better than wolfs mod soooo hurry up and finish it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, if your username is supposed to be the pokemon, it's spelled 'Zoroark', with a 'k' :tongue.gif:
by any chance have you seen this thread?
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/637776-dark-realm-enderworld/page__gopid__8363815#entry8363815
I would ask if you would wish to merge this mod with yours, but it seems someone has volunteered to make your idea into their own mod. Shame :/
Sinister? Well, read the suggestions thread for some of my sinister plans.
This is a list I've put in the suggestions thread. However, since I'm on the team, it's more an incomplete feature list rather than a suggestion list.
~~Blocks, trees and Items~~

Yea, Enderpearl Chips. Or Fragments, if you wish.
You need to smelt these into Enderpearl Nuggets.
You can then combine four of these (in a square) into an Ender Pearl that we all know and love!
Or, you could combine two Ender Nuggets (side my side) to create an Enderpearl Ingot.
-Enderpearl Chips

-Enderpearl Nuggets
These can be combined in a square of four to create an Ender Pearl. Or, two can be crafted together (they need to be side by side) to crate an Enderpearl Ingot.
-Enderpearl Ingot
You'd think these would make weapons of some kind, right?

-Chaox Torch

-Pearl Leaves
These are the leaves of Pearl Trees. They have the same effect of cactus in that touching them causes damage. They can also (sometimes-rarely) drop Pearl Saplings. They are fairly hard, taking a little longer to be cut down than usual. This hardness means they cannot be sheared.

~~Mobs~~
-Weeping Enders
Spawn rate: Rare
Damage: 3 hearts
Health: N/A
Drops: N/A
Ever seen Doctor Who? Ever seen the episode 'Blink', or maybe 'The Time of Angels'?. If so, then you will know of the Weeping Angels.
These creatures are similar.
They wander around until you get within their range, in which they turn and stare at you. But you won't notice.

-Endelta
Spawn rate: Medium
Damage: 2 hearts
Health: 10 hearts
Drops:
Chaos Flame (0-1)
Ender Nuggets (1-3)
These.
Things.
Are.
-Arachender
Spawn rate: Rare
Damage: 2 hearts
Health: 15 hearts
Drops:
Ender String (1-4)
Ender Chips (0-4)
Good luck.
woah lots of ideas lol and I LOVE THE BANNER MAN :biggrin.gif: anyways this just spouted like a weed lol cant wait to see the other topic i started yesterday lol the ideas i havent read yet but i will update on them when i read them all
the necklace is sorta being thrown around for ideas currently so its probably going to be added
ideas thus far for it (this is a LONG list but heres a few)
(me) EnderNecklace should let you throw dark orbs at enderman
(RyanxXx)no it should allow you to keep your Sanity in the EnderRealm
(Kelsey94)maybe it could make enderman not kill you if you hit them since the Disguise makes them follow you but not be tamed
(RyanxXx)eh... what about it making your health stronger and your food bar stronger? same with armor
(me) thats ok we'll add but what other uses?
this goes on for a while lol
lol seriously though i love EVERY idea in this al really creepy and Imaginative its like Disney if it joined Forces with Satan how delightfully horrific this is going on the list
how do i add banner lol
hahaha sounds purely sadistic xD the banshee sounds alot like the stalker from mah suggestion :tongue.gif: screaming and turning around to see something is always terrifying i spose xD is there any ideas for a boss like creature you can summon? :3 lovin the idea, freakin amazing ^-^
i havent rlly heard from the guys who decided to make my mod idea real :/ feel free to tweak a few ideas and claim them as your own if u like any of em x)
Yes, this will make the endermen much scarier.
Especially as I plan to make them disassemble your portal if you get far away enough from it >=D
sure you can help us with textures :biggrin.gif:
