hey i know i have been posting a lot but can you give some instructions on how to install the mod on a server
When you download the .zip there's 2 folders (Client and Server) and a "ReadMe.txt". The readme explains how to install on a server. And thanks for the diamond :DDD
This is an AWSOME mod! My Only suggestion is that you use less obsidian in the crafting.Thats all
The point of the obsidian is to make sure that getting the items is not easy. Most of them that use obsidian are very powerful and have alot of abilities which is why osidian is used; it balances getting such a powerful item.
If your still having problems make the pickaxe first, since it can mine obsidian much faster than even a diamond pick.
You might want to rethink the Scorchblade. In Minecraft Beta 1.9 (and consequently Minecraft 1.0) the "Fire Aspect" enchantment makes any sword do the same thing as the Scorchblade, without decreasing durability any quicker.

Yes but the blade does more damage than a diamond sword with such an enchantment. Plus I think based on how notch might be doing it, the effect might stack and the amount of time the hit mob is on fire is increased. I will look into these things when I have the full code, and see if any tools need changes to make it more fair/work/worthwhile to make/maybe even remove it alltogether but as a last resort.

Yh he looks a bit small but I shall scale him up ingame. Speaking of which, Techne appears to hate me as of late, what with copy/paste not working, animation not working and exporting missing half the functions. :/ So getting this ingame and thus working might take some effort.

Soulsand Desert: It adds dark cactus and a desert of soul sand.
Other Ideas
Netherrack Furnace: Does not use any fuel but coal,weakwood,lava. Smelts faster than normal furnace by 2x.
Weakwood Crafting Table: Nothing Special... just for a nether crafting table.
Mob Ideas
Bulk Demons: Can't fly higher than 10 blocks but make up for it in strength do 8 hearts of damage and send you flying.
Warrior Demons: Use netherran swords as there weapon they swoop down to attack they do 5 hearts of damage and can guard ranged attacks.
Demon Archer: Have bows and fly in closer if your not looking shoot fire arrow that will set you on fire.
Netherhound: A bigger version of a wolf but only it's a blood red tone with orange markings and can be tamed by steak only.

Soulsand Desert: It adds dark cactus and a desert of soul sand.
Other Ideas
Netherrack Furnace: Does not use any fuel but coal,weakwood,lava. Smelts faster than normal furnace by 2x.

Bulk Demons: Can't fly higher than 10 blocks but make up for it in strength do 8 hearts of damage and send you flying.

Netherhound: A bigger version of a wolf but only it's a blood red tone with orange markings and can be tamed by steak only.
-as far as I know, custom biomes without editing main classes is not possible yet so this is a no-go.
-I've been hearing alot about the furnace so I might add it, but you can get normal planks from rotwood to make a crafting table.
- Trying to avoid demons since then it gets both religious and stereotypical at the same time.
- Hellhounds are pretty much replaced by Spindels since they house similar functions save for a pack mentality.(save for taming though I was thinking of that)

Ok Hellhound are nothing like Spindels at all. First off Hellhounds are hostile but can be tamed if you feed them steak for a safe place. There also spawn on the surface rarely. Like Enderman water will hurt them and they teleport. And they emit fire and smoke for there aura all the time. And they burning footprints if they move. Also they are rarer to find then anything so Spindels are be more easy to find.

Forget it... Anyway the serpent boss sounds epic. I think fire breath would be an awesome attack along with a drag you in lava when almost dead like an Anaconda.
Maybe you could make a lava golem or something. If you have played runescape think jad, if you haven't look up tiz-tok-jad(I probably horribly failed at spelling the name)
