Did you installed ModLoader AND ModLoaderMP right?
Can you post the crash you got?
I can't seem to get my crash report, I tried the batch file method to get my crash report but I'm the window closes immediately. Running it off the command line gives the error: Can't find or load main class C:\users\[name]\Appdata\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\lwjgl.jar even though the file in question is in that exact location.
Also I have Modloader but not ModloaderMP because I'm playing SP.
@Panther: Exactly what demonette says. Another problem might be that my mod uses IDs one of your other mods uses. Nether Better creates a .ref file in the .minecraft directory, you can use this to see what IDs are.(not change them - couldn't get that to work. :sad.gif: Anywho notepad will do for opening it. )
I installed IDResolver installed to fix problems with conflicting IDs with other mods, it has worked perfectly so far.

Even if your not playing MP it requires ModloaderMp (the mod_ file itself calls it, that is what makes it work in SMP)
Also I will look into IDResolver, sounds like an epic program...
I would have liked it a lot. Will those skellies change in any way? Will they spawn somewhere? Will they just be a soulsand secret? Anything else we should know about them?
But at the moment i'm for gold weapons... or... mystical blood stone weapons that are unaccessible for players. XD
Well nether skellies actually do spawn naturally in 1.0 but I had to use a cheap tactic to get it to work: they spawn only in new chunks and are generated with the chunk. Anyway the reason your having issues finding them is because they spawn too high up or nowhere near ground, and die from fall damage, as well as being rare to spawn to begin with. I have fixed this a bit, but I can't think of any way to make them spawn naturally. If anyone knows speak up, I'd really appreciate it!
Well since I got the beta running I've done something that I've never done before...extensively explore Nether. I usually just pop in, grab as much glowstone dust as I can find nearby and and leave. Problem is I spent most of my time trying to find something other than trees!
The aforementioned trees were fairly abundant but it took about 3 hours of searching just to find 2 rot reeds and about 5 thymble thorns (from which I managed to get a single glowshroom seed (spore??). Luckily once planted it spat out glowshrooms like the Kardashians spit out sextapes. Speaking of which (glowshrooms not sextapes), they're pretty cool to look at night when you plant them in around your house.....especially the giant ones.
Regarding ores I wasn't able to find any but that doesn't necessarily mean to say that they weren't available. I'm guessing you'll have to be fairly close to spot them in that sea or netherrack red.
The Netheran items are worth the effort it takes gathering the resources to make them (especially the sword and pickaxe) pity I couldn't find any bloodstone to make the 'inflaming' sword, I was so looking forward to burning some mobs.
Overall I've seen enough to add this mod to the list of those I follow closely, I would like the flora and ores to be a little less rare but even at this stage of development it got me to spend more time in Nether in a single sitting than all the other times before combined.
Nether is going to be a very interesting place in 1.9 with the new changes plus this mod.

I have since fixed the tree overpopulation and rarity of ores(Rot Reeds are still a bit rare but thier generation code has been amplified to improve chances of being placed and only are rare as normal reeds in the overworld) I will fix thymble thorn generation; for some reason it didn't like spawning alot of them.(and ofc you need alot of them to get glowshroom seeds)
The ores themselves are generally not difficult to spot. (bloodstone glows slightly, gold sticks out like a sore thumb, coal is the one that blends in well) but sometimes difficult to get to, but that's part of the challenge.

Are those changes in the current release or due to be released in the next version? I'm running 1.0 currently.
NOTE! IF YOU ALREADY INSTALLED THIS MOD YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL TO A FRESH .JAR AS THIS VERSION HAS RENAMED FILES THAT CAN CONFLICT WITH PREVIOUS ONES!! I am sorry for the inconvience and this won't happen again.

Will that be necessary if I zipped the files of the previous version and put them in the mods folder instead of putting them into the jar?
I really like the new changes...enough that I've started working on hi-res textures and icons compatible with Spahx's PureBDCraft.
Colossalsoft released really good pack with 1.0 (though I'm not fond of the items and armor) so I'm just trying to fill in the blanks for 1.1...and working on alternative icons for items and armor.
This is what I have so far:
Nether and Netherfyre Swords
Netheran Armor
Weakwood chest
Once I'm done I'll get with Colossalsoft to see if we can combine our efforts into a hi-res patch for Nether Better.

Nice job! I really like the armor(is that colossal's design just recolored? It looks familiar) and hopefully Colossal will want to do a collab with you too. :smile.gif:

I used the Obsidian armor from the Aether Mod that's included in the PureBDCraft pack as a base. Colossal's was cool but I felt it (and the other items) was missing the obsidian bits that you have in your sprites. If he agrees to collaborate I'll add my items as an option.
Speaking of sprites what is the bit behind the bloodstone supposed to be in the Netherfyre icon?
EDIT
I forgot to mention that even if you zip the Client files and put them in the Mods folder Minecraft will crash when new chunks are created in the Nether if you were running 1.0 previously.

Can you send me a link to where I can get/see ColossalSofts textures?
You should add lava fish, kind of like the mo creatures fish, only in lava

ID Resolver is epic, I wouldn't be able to get all the mods I use to work without it. Find it here:ID resolver
I installed the ModloaderMP client and and Minecraft loaded up just fine....I can't believe I missed something so obvious .
I really appreciate the quick response though.
Don't feel bad, it is entirely reasonable to guess you don't need it since MP IS in the name. I did put it in the OP though :tongue.gif:
Anyway, Skellie code will not work serverside so I've decided on a compromise:
I will put up a poll to see which weapon you want them to hold but for now that's it.

1.1, sorry, should've specified that.
Speaking of which I'm almost done with it, just working on a secret addition and when that's done 1.1 will be out :smile.gif:
Cool, can't wait

In your case you can just delete the old mod's .zip and replace it with the new version zipped.
1.0: Spawn rate of any ore in a chunk: about 8%
1.1: Spawn rate of any ore in a chunk: about 37%
So it's a significant boost but you still need to find it in a sea of netherrack. :tongue.gif:
