Cyan_the_Azure mate if it is 493 wiki pages then break it down into multiple categories like evolutionary items, digivices and machines, equipments and armor, the different types of digimon, and so on yes I know it will require multiple books or include a item like Izzy laptop or maybe a digidex like item when you encounter an item or digimon it auto adds to the system.
Yeah. If...only..there were a way in-game that tells you the requirements for digimon if you don't meet them!
As far as an in-game book, it's come up before. But I have yet to hear of a decent proposal on how to add 493 wiki pages worth of material into a minecraft book. So I would be more likely to consider it with a decent implementation proposal. As copying lines and lines from the wiki into hundreds of pages into the very limited minecraft books is not only a waste of my time, but yours as well.
as for the book i have an idea...theres a mod that lets u put backpacs inside ofbackpacks , so why not books inside of books n have it all catogrized with the topics as a dropdown menu for each book n topic
Update: Still bedridden and dying miserably from the flu. Update will be put on hiatus until I'm actually able to sit up without passing out. Will try to respond to messages when I am able as well. Sorry for the inconvenince.
annother idea is to make a in game acessible wiki like this mod dos but have it so it downloads the info or is built into the mod as offline versons of wiki pages u can see ingam
Hey cyan, I have some complaints with the mod, these aren't complaints to you as a creator but there are some major problems with the digimon strength system, again; I don't want to hate on you you made a really good mod and you try really hard, god only knows what kind of jobs you have to balance to keep bringing us updates but still keep a house and home. So firstly: corrupts, I'm aware you want corrupts to be rare so that eggs are rare and significant upon obtainment but corrupts as of now are unfair and pretty much point less; my main problem is that corrupts rarely spawn and when they do they are executed in front of you, my suggestion would be higher egg chances, higher corrupt spawn chances, or for a digimon that kills a corrupt to have a chance of becoming corrupt if they aren't owned (like digimon adventure tri's meicrakmon battle). secondly: This new training system; this has to be my biggest complaint, I am aware of the dw1 aesthetic but it's pretty unfair, you need to fight digimon to gain stats but to gain stats you need to fight digimon and you can't help them or they'll become weaker than a rookie at mega which causes multiple digimon deaths and digimon deaths you force on them for stats, which boils down to waiting for a digimon to hatch and killing it waiting has become a huge part of this game; wait an hour between digivolving, wait multiple hours for good stats, it's just not fun at that point it's a chore. There's a timer between praises so you need to abuse shrooms, I get that you want to balance it but the whole discipline thing was a good balance as high happiness and low discipline causes a failure. In dw1 you mainly got stats from training equipment, with no cooldown, high stats (4-8 gained). and low happiness reduction now it's: 20 minute cooldown, doesn't give a single stat unless it levels you then you will get ONE stat, and a huge happiness reduction that in the end isn't worth it. The old stat system was fine, maybe it needed some nerfing but mainly it was fine, digivolving does nothing to stats and you might as well stay as a rookie, you fixed the pain of eggs with restarting from lvl 1 but you should have 3 tries before they're gone anyway and removing revive capsules was a good choice. ( know this is a wall of text just please read it out and judge it fairly) overall: you are an AMAZING developer and have made an AMAZING mod but it needs a lot of fixes, and the community could help you a lot in decision making, make more polls, take notes from the community, we care about the mod, and we more importantly care about you. if you could give us a chance to help you you wouldn't have to make decisions on a whim and wouldn't have any stress. If there's ANYTHING you take from this, let it be this: the mod has enough digimon to go around, but currently the systems of which digimon obtain strength is unfair and obsurd.

um im not sure if there is a website i can go onto to directly say it but the server keeps booting me off and shuting down my client, i think its because of where im at, though i am not sure why it would. at any rate it wont let me stay on so if you can help with that i would be happy.
Actually, that's exactly where I am. I use them to go up and down my house. So, if I eventually get off of the ladder by stuttering over and over, it should fix it? This sort of sounds like a serious bug.
ya but its not just ladders its alot of other things to, people have reported minecraft crashes for almost any reason when playing the mod. however we need to calm down and give Cyan a chance to fix it, we need to take a step back and try to be as helpful as we can, while also trying to not be overbearing.
well well this update is super awesome, all the remodels looking fantastic and damn that togemon remodel is so dope great job guys keep up the great work <3 <3
One minor rendering issue: The Obby Zoid Pickaxes show as Obby Zoid Axes both as an item & while in hand. Not sure if it applies to other Zoid Picks. They, however, function as they should. Threw me for a loop when I went to replace my pick.
Update #1: Shift-clicking while trying to put an item into a digi's inventory crashes your client.
i cant find any low level digimons even in the wood lands most are champion and they go with 20-30 level my level 2 pukamon can fight none so is this a bug or are they hard to find
The above link is to a survey where I will be collecting feedback for the mod. I am doing this because it will now be the only way for people of the MC Forum to leave me feedback on the mod, as I will no longer be updating this topic with any information other than to notify people of updates.
At one point in time I had a big, long, angry rant to post, but since then I've decided to keep it short.
It's occurred to me for the longest time now that the community here has gone kind of downhill. Looking back at the first hundreds of pages people actually seemed keen on providing constructive criticism and genuinely improving this mod to the best it can be. Now the majority have turned into entitled brats who whine when they don't get their way, or when I don't think their idea is the most amazing thing in the world.
And yes, this is a result of the 2 week period I was sick with the flu. It's pretty pathetic that other posters were having to tell people to back off and chill out. And that doesn't even take into consideration the private messages I received. The one that told me to kill myself, presumably for not having an update out, was particularly amusing.
It doesn't really bother me all that much, but it's just kind of gotten ridiculous, and I now understand why most mod authors don't bother responding to their topics anymore -- And I think I will follow their lead. I apologize to the people who are still here and leave good feedback, the vocal minority has ruined it for you.
Few things to keep in mind should I change my mind on posting here in the future.
1. This isn't my job. This is my hobby. I do this in the free time I have while not working because I think a lot of people are really wishing for a digimon game where they are not limited.
2. Being demanding or otherwise rude to me and trying to pick a fight won't get you anywhere. I'm not here to cater to a singular individual. All you do is burn me out and make it more difficult for actual feedback to get to me.
3. Demanding updates is ACTUALLY against the rules of this forum, but it gets old having to report reply after reply on top of all the other crap I end up reporting because people are mad/think they are funny.
4. I imagine this is the very reason why a bunch of the older and larger mods are no longer being maintained. Creators get too annoyed by all the rudeness and decide they can be spending their time doing something more productive. Stop being rude to mod creators when you don't get your way.
So much for keeping this short. Should've seen the full length of that rant.
That being said, you can still contact me at the Digimobs Forum. In the past I have kind of neglected my forum, but I will now be moving all discussion and announcements there. It will be easier for me, and those that are serious about leaving constructive criticism, to have a conversation there. But I imagine a lot of people can't be bothered to register, which brings me back to why I have left this survey.
So in conclusion, please take the survey if you are serious about seeing this mod grow and change for the better. I'll have a big discussion post with the results over at the Digimobs Forum after enough time has passed. This thread will now only be bumped by me to announce updates.
Edit: Already gotten some troll/hate mail through the surveys. Forgot to mention I'll just delete those on the spot. So if you did want a voice in this direction of the mod, you were just silenced. Cheers.

Sponge forum, saying
(e.g. the one that starts with java.lang.Exception: Stack trace) is caused by a bug in Digimobs.
digimobs skip the entity BUG in spongeforge's reason
Another.BUG... Negative items allowing unlimited use...
how long is it going to take?

The exact same thing is happening to me. I come on for mere moments before being suddenly kicked off of my client instantly.
well were you on a ladder?
i was and all i kept doing is logging in and slowly drifting downward untill i het the bottem and then ran away, eventuly it stoped stutering.
im swearing off ladders.
it took like 5 logins before i was free.
Actually, that's exactly where I am. I use them to go up and down my house. So, if I eventually get off of the ladder by stuttering over and over, it should fix it? This sort of sounds like a serious bug.
