I don't know about testing, but I could use some ideamakers. It can get pretty hard to adapt Runescape to Minecraft, and I some help figuring out how to do it would help.
This mod looks great! I was thinking of trying to make a mod kind of like that but I dont think my skills are that great. Please dont discontinue this mod! If you kept on going with it, it could get a lot of people to like it! So please continue doing this mod for me and for many other people who like this mod! Also if you did continue it I could give you some nice ideas I have been thinking about this for a little while so if you ever needed some ideas I would be able to help you!
7 year RS vet. You said you needed ideas? I'm your man :tongue.gif:
-Add dungeons that spawn dragons, when they come out. This will be for hunting for gs drops and training when skills come out.
-Slayer towers with mosters in em. Drops ores, but at the top, there'll be Abyssal Demons, they would drop whips?
-Crossbows that launch bolts
-Make dragon equipment drop from dragons, remove dragon ores. A little bit more like real RS?
-KBD dungeon. Like the dragon dungeons, but KBD drops visage. Attach to a dragon shield, and you become fire resistant as long as it is in your inv
-Farming patch soil, able to be crafted further into a patch that will spawn a certain tree, depending on the seed. Tree will regrow periodically.
-Right click specs for godswords that either eat up durability or have a cooldown

Thanks for the input, and I've thought about a lot of the stuff that you suggested.
-I'll probably make dungeons possible to spawn dragons with only one in there at a time
-Sounds like a good idea, I'll add it to my list
-I thought about cbows, but I've they wouldn't be much of a variety between them and bows unless I mess with fire rate
-That's a possibility, but not a priority
-I hadn't thought about KBD, but I did consider a GWD with all 4/5 bosses in there (not sure if Nex will be include), which will drop hilts
-I was going to add farming, not sure if it will just be more plants to grow like wheat or specialized patches
-Specs are planned for v0.4, (assuming v0.3 has drags, which is my priority for that update), I'm going to try to have a spec bar that replenishes, just like RS
I really appreciate the input, just don't overwhelm me with plans :smile.gif:

Yeah i like a lot of these ideas. myself being a 5 year vet, i've been brainstorming a lot, but i don't want to overload him just yet :tongue.gif: still a long way to go. This could prove to be one of the largest most advanced mods ever made.
I'm just reading through the recipes slightly uninterested, but then i see the Inferno Adze and the God swords and think "Oh ya, I'm getting this!" It looks like a mod that given time could get pretty good. Don't get me wrong this is pretty good already for a WIP mod.

I really appreciate the support. Sadly, godsword aren't obtainable yet, but that'll be in the next update.
Just installed the mod, looks very nice so far. On first impression, the only thing that irks me is the arrow recipes. For bronze arrows, it takes one feather for one arrow. That's the way it is in RuneScape too, but you have to remember that feathers are a bit less common in Minecraft than in Runescape (Chickens in RS drop 5-15 feathers, in MC they drop 0-2)
So, instead of having one arrow per feather, I think it would be better to have 2 or 4 arrows per feather. You could reduce the number of arrowheads produced from bars to make up for this.
So, for example:
Instead of
3 bars=24 arrowheads, and 1 arrow recipe=1 arrow,
Have it so
3 bars=6 arrowheads, and 1 arrow recipe=4 arrows,
Or,
3 bars=12 arrowheads, and 1 arrow recipe=2 arrows.
This way, you would reduce strain on players' feather supplies but still have 24 arrows per 3 bars of metal.
Also, I noticed that axes have no effect on how fast you chop oak or magic trees. It would be nice if, like ores, you needed a certain quality axe to chop a certain quality tree (like, you need iron axe for maple or runite axe for magic), or like in RS, better quality axes chop trees faster.

I made the arrow recipes take one feather because that's the same as what the regular arrow requires. Axes don't destroy rs logs faster, I'm working on that, as well as needing certain axes to chop higher levels trees.
