I thought this "thing" was dead and over with but then i browse the forum and this guy has the koi banner and i'm like "wtf? isn't this dead?" so i come back and i see its half alive!!!!!
Your "Glass bucket" has the same recipe as the current bottles. All those tags are broken.. >.<
Asides from the obvious, it seems like a very nice, well thought mod, it might be difficult to make it so the fish will spawn near grass etc without it being too cpu intensive, but I'm sure you will find some way to do it
Great idea! Would it be possible to spawn different koi fish into a water body? Also are they visible when in the water? (unlike standard fishing in vanilla)
-ninja koi: found in dark water,tamable, black in color, defends owner like a wolf, can be given a mini iron sword (crafted with a stick and an iron ingot)
- koi crystals (it sounds cooler when spelled koi krystals) used to summon tames koi. Right click with the crystal to have the koi come to where you're standing
- albino koi: rare, white body and red eyes
-baby koi/breeding: koi would be bred with more pellets and make fish fry. Then the fry grow to be more koi
-KoiShoom:there would be a red and a brown one. They would be found around mushrooms islands
-more in depth fish tanks: you could right click the tank with gravel, sand, or dirt to add it to the bottom. Same with driftwood and rocks
-goldfish: they aren't koi, but they are somewhat related
-zombie and skeleton koi: hostile, can't b tamed. The ghost fish needs some buddies, right?
-high quality pellets: for taming rarer fish. Made with with seeds (any type), a mushroom (either type), aa gold nugget, and bugs (possibly a new mob for koi to eat?)
-Mosquitos: Random tiny mobs that koi will eat, can be caught with a net
-net: made with string and a stick. Used to catch koi and Mosquitos without killing them. You must have a bucket of water in your inventory though, so u can catch the fishy
