Instructions:
1) Locate your minecraft.jar file. On Windows, it's in %APPDIR%/.minecraft/bin
2) Create a backup of minecraft.jar
3) Open minecraft.jar in an archive editor (WinRar/7-Zip/etc) 4) Delete the META-INF folder.
5) Copy the files from the downloaded zip file into the jar file (overwriting f.class and bz.class).
6) Run Minecraft and test!
any tips on installing this on a mac? I don't know what to use to repackage minecraft.jar after the archiver unpacks it
uncompile your minecraft.jar and make it a folder, named minecraft.jar. some programs that look for a .jar file will get mind****ed, but it will be easier to install mods.
This is a phenomenal mod! I've never had problems with framerate (since Beta I've been getting about 60+ fps :tongue.gif:) but I downloaded this to see what would happen.
I now have 100+ fps on fancy and far rendering distance.
OP, you win the Internet =D

Come on guys, we're getting off-topic, this is a thread about kicking men in the testicles.

You'll be surprised by how few people actually put a bathroom in their house. Where else would you ****? Where else?
It kinda decreased my fps from 80 to 34 (on short render let me get some screenies ) (using v3)(minecraft beta 1.1_02) doesn't seem to do anything but lower my fps :|for v3 (on sp)

That's really odd, are you sure you had the same render options for both?
It crashes a vanilla MC =(

Agreed. I want to see if this offers any improvement in multiplayer.
The things this mod changes are not used at all in multiplayer.
Anything that can make zip files will work. Pack the files into minecraft.zip, then rename it to minecraft.jar.

Ahh, too bad about multiplayer... always looking to increase fps & decrease lag in multiplayer.
As far as depending on a GUI mod, just go for the toggle key instead of a gui. Would give people a better idea of how much the improvement is.
