I was hoping someone could direct me to - or explain why such a thing does not exist - a Windows Edition Minecraft mod resource?
I am trying to determine the viability of an edit, potentially a mod, but I need to talk with someone who has knowledge of the windows edition.
Essentially, I am trying to rewrite or override some of the villagers' "Path block cost" values. I have been working on a large structure, basically a city, but no matter how I try to convince them to cooperate, villagers are rendered helpless when trying to move across certain blocks. I am hoping someone can assist with either: Modifying the Block Cost of the bloxks themselves - say, glass - or by assisting me in editing the villager path values, and where to find them.
Have no experience modding, this seems like a simple enough task to accomplish, given time.
**Even better if this is a simple table of values that can be modified.
Hello everyone,

When you say "Windows Edition Minecraft" do you mean Bedrock Edition?
MC comes in two types: Java (for PC), and Bedrock Edition (for consoles, mobiles and a PC port). Only the Java Edition can be modded.
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
Ahh... I apologize, when I acquired the game it was branded "Windows Edition" - I understand that it is bedrock.
So, it cannot be modded... that is more than a little irritating.
Cheers, thank you for your time! I'll have to contemplate some alternatives now.
No problem. Modding for Java is possible; there are various on-line resources available, including this website:
