umm can someone help me, what im trying to do is make it so when someone presses a key that can be changed in the controls menu, i want to make it so even if the item description doesnt fit in the screen it divides it so it does or when the button is pressed it fits the description to the screen, does anyone here have any ideas on how to do it, i just started trying to learn java and im trying to make the mod for a school project, i would appreciate it if someone could help me
I know of a Fabric mod that focuses on formatting text in descriptions to fit on screen. It doesn't have a key binding though I think. You'd have to find other mods that do that or tutorials (none I know of have keybinding support covered yet but that's in video form, not sure if there is any on the wiki https://fabricmc.net/wiki/doku.php).
Not sure if the code will reflect in your project for key inputs but it's worth a look at least. I'd recommend looking at any mods you can for the source code that usually have a key input but as far as I know I can't think of many other mods that do what your after. There probably is some I just can't think of any.
