Hey, I've had a world on my computer for a long while now. A couple of years back the world became corrupt. However, I was still able to play it. So I did and I thought the outcome was quite wild. It turned out that it somehow became a combined World Type of Default and Superflat (See pictures).
Later on, I thought this would be a cool idea if it could be replicated for survival, and so that the generation could be unique every time. Though, I don't have the knowledge to do this, nor the time. So, here I am, hopefully passing on what I think is a fancy idea for survival.
List of ideas for refinement if this can be replicated:
1. Allowing for the generation of Strongholds without them being "cut" into (So that you are able to get to a portal).
2. Can this be replicated for the Nether and/or End?
3. Letting structures spawn on the Superflat part of the world and the Default as well.
