Minecraft Cybernetics adds implants, bionics and power armor options providing various abilities and boosts. Examples include Night Vision, movement boosts, strength, etc. This mod does not add any additional ores or other material generation, so it can be easily added to existing worlds.
Thanks for the ideas. My original idea was to use BC Assembly Table to create the chips, but I decided to make the base mod stand alone at first, then if I received enough attention, add additional integration using other mods.

When I was thinking of ideas that the implants could do, I wanted to stick to the game basics: movement, weapons, armor, etc., then advanced implants add potion functionality. A lot of mods add the same thing, but my mod presents it in a new way. I wanted to give Cyberpunk some lovin in Minecraft.
The implants do duplicate effects that are found in other mods, but so do other mods. How many mods add movement bonuses? I think I'm safe with presenting the mod in this manner.
Balance is a big thing, that's why I came up with the health reduction penalty. I think its enough for now, but until someone actually makes the mod, we can't test it.
That helmet looks awesome. I'm a big BGC fan. The idea of having both hard suits or cyborg choice is perfect. I'll work out some recipe ideas for that.
I'm a big fan of modded Minecraft, but I also recognize the need not to go overboard. For now, I'll keep posting ideas based upon a stand alone mod, but also add integration with other mods. Thanks for your comments.
I like the idea of a "surgical station" to add implants, a multiblock structure like a hospital bed with a robo doctor. I was also thinking of a similar station if someone wanted to have cyborg replacements. And a "assembly station" to make and/or equipment a power suit. This would add a bit more work to achieve what you want, which could balance things out.
I'm all for adding new ideas to the original write up. Implants can be just one option available in the mod. I also recognize the need for restrictions in having implants and cyborg parts and/or power suit. It can be controlled thru the slot system. Only one type at a time can be used, no mixing. Using a different station for each type would do it.
I'd like to try to keep the mod based in vanilla materials, but that doesn't mean we can't add new metals/materials made from vanilla ones. Example: Energized Iron: combine iron with RS dust in a new smelter we make for the mod. It can be used as the basis for batteries to power armor. Silver and Lead are obvious metals to use in the mod, so we can make alternate recipes using materials based upon other mods a player might be using, but I want to avoid tying this mod with any others for now.

"Scoop out"... chills. Anyways, Feedcraft, your ideas sounds better for cyborg replacements. My idea of implants are internal, basically non-visible. I added an Implant Station to my document.

Oh magic could work. If it already exists who cares because you just make it different with more features like industrial craft and build craft s whatever you want I can try it I am alright with java I have taken courses at the university level and have done some java modding
I'm going to continue to develop this mod. Here are my ideas:
1. A Tier system. Each tier built on the last. Implants first, then either Bionics or a Power Suit.
2. Implants will only be basic; advanced implants will become Bionics. A few basic implants moving to bionics. Not visible on character.
3. Bionics: replacing body parts with metal parts. More powerful than implants. Not compatible with implants. Visible on character.
4. Power suits: upgraded armor with attachments. Certain implants can be used with power armor. Certain bionics can be used with power armor. Obviously visible on character.
The document on the link will contain all the info when I update it.

I had an idea for the power armor: make it look sleeker that some of the other mods. They look more like a space suit. I want my armor to look more like the Hard Suits from Bubblegum Crisis, but not so feminine. Feedcraft has started on some awesome graphics. Let me know if you need anything else, Sekwah41. Thanks.

The logical extension would be external implants/replacements/powered armor. Running on RF is a good idea for balance. Give me a Hard Suit any day.
