I wanted to do some filming in-game, possibly a machinima, and was wondering if there's anyway to mod the game to get rid of the HUD or crosshair. More importantly the crosshair, I can just cut off the edges to hide the inventory.
It would be great to get rid of the pesky crosshair and film with nothing covering the screen up.
I don't think we support this, but i overheard something to do with the GUI in minecraft jar.
That only works for the survival version. Changing the creative one doesnt change anything.
It is very possible, but you need to use an external client. Also, you won't be able to get rid of the actual blocks at the bottom without making a few blocks invisible.

Click on the apple in the top left corner, scroll down to system preferences and click on it. Click on Keyboard, then click on the keyboard tab. You should find a box that says to use F1, F2, etc. as standard function keys. Click on the box and it should work how you want it.
