Hello, I am looking for any modders who enjoy weapons and creativity that wouldn't mind at least attempting to make the following mods:
First up is a crossbow idea I had (Yes I know people have already done crossbows,but not like what I have in mind as far as I know) the crossbow should ideally be crafted from 3 sticks, 1 string, and one block of either wood planks, iron, gold, or diamond for different levels of strength respectively like so: "/"=sticks "{:content:}quot;=string "[w],[s],[i],[g],[d]"= wood planks, smooth stone, iron block, gold block, and diamond block respectively "*"= empty space.

NOTE: BLOCKS of material are used to make the CROSSBOW,HOWEVER just simple pieces are used to make the HARPOON ammo.
EXTRA: Also if you could make the the crossbow have some sort of crosshairs when you "charge it/scope in" that would be great but not required.
I would like the crossbow to shoot harpoons at a farther distance than the bow and arrows do but also take a relevant time to reload so as not to make the bow obsolete thus ruining the game.(Basically a drawback to it so it won't be so overpowered) It should also do more damage than the bow but not too much more, however you should also be able to charge it like the bow does. A feature I would like the harpoons to have is: Variety, meaning a few different kinds like a regular one, poison tip, barbed, flint tipped,a bait one, sticky one, and a grapple one. I will now explain how they should each be made.
Regular harpoons should consist of 3 ingots(iron or higher), whereas the effect harpoons will consist of 2 ingots and their appropriate attachment that sets them apart.

Ok now comes their respective effects
Reg.= basically just a stronger longer distance arrow (damage should vary by material, distance should stay the same for all)
Poison=...self explanatory, however the duration that it should cause damage should be determined by the material it is made of i.e. iron,gold, or diamond
Barbed= should only do damage from initial hit but also should make the enemy hit by it move slower(stun) for a period of time to be determined by the modder who decides to make this(stun duration should vary based on material)
Flint tipped= will make tnt explode on contact and creepers if possible, as for other mobs it'll simply do slightly more damage than a regular harpoon
bait= will attract endermen wherever shot regardless of if they are chasing someone already or not, also would be nice if endermen would attack any mobs that are shot with it but that is not required "just a fun idea lol"
sticky= if shot at an enemy that is near a wall(5 blocks or less) it will "pin" them to it for a short duration (once again the specific time will be left up to the mod developer and each time will vary with he material used)
grapple= basically you place a wood plank on the ground, then jump on it and crouch, while crouched you shoot the grapple harpoon to anywhere in a straight line(no diagonals, no up or down) and it creates a rope bridge leading from the wood block to whatever block you shot that you can now walk on like a tightrope(you can make it so you have to crouch to cross it if you want it to be more realistic but thats not required)
Woo that was a lot of typing lol, now on to the next weapon since we're done with the crossbow/harpoon part, We now move on to BOLOS! :biggrin.gif:
Bolos are pretty simple as a concept, they are simply a throwable item that when they hit a mob will not do damage but instead keep the target from moving for a few seconds. these should be made from stone or higher and string.
tomahawk throwing axes
They would be crafted almost the same way as regular axes(stone or higher) but can be picked up if you miss your target(mob) however they should dissappear when they hit the mob. Strength will of course vary by matieral like everything else. as for distance they can be throw.... um you go ahead and decide that lol

NOTE: Tomahawks should also be able to cut down trees like regular axes but will wear down drastically fast if used for that.
And now finally the last weapon/tool.... STUN BOMBS :biggrin.gif:
For those of you who play COD it is basically a flashbang with a kick. Stun bombs should be made of glowstone dust, gun powder, flint, and paper. they should give off a flash when already in light which will temporarily stop mobs for a few short precious seconds, and when in darkness ,either a cave or night, they will still give off that stunning flash however they should also leave a temporary light as bright as a block of glowstone that lasts for about
8-10 seconds. "H"= sheet of paper "%"= gunpowder

1st. Theres a weaponmod by Balkon with Crossbows, poison darts, fire rods and stuff
Yes I've seen it but that crossbow doesn't have the different kinds of bolts/harpoons that this one will if someone makes it. Granted the poison blow dart from his mod does take care of the poison harpoons I posted about but I'm quite sure that a poison harpoon fired from a crossbow would have more range than it. All in all Balkon's mod is a very good one but I would like the other things I posted about to be made as well. And I know Balkon also put stuff like knives, throwable tnt, spears and stuff in it as well but that's still not quite what I'm looking for, however I would like to thank you for your input and appreciate your trying to help. :biggrin.gif:

Yes I've seen it but that crossbow doesn't have the different kinds of bolts/harpoons that this one will if someone makes it.
