I thought maybe it would be cool to be able to craft wings and fly! You would need to build two wings.

Then, to be able to craft a pair of wings, you need to connect the two wings with a diamond block, like so:

And there you go! Right click while holding them to equip/unequip them. You cannot attack or use tools while flying.
P.S. I thought it would take a lot of challenge away from the game if the wings were too easy to make, hence the diamond/diamond blocks and not being able to mine/attack while flying.

I have an idea, but I am not sure if it had already been done yet. So, there aren't any new blocks or items (except for 1) or anything like that, but it is a pretty cool idea, If I say so myself.
IDEA:
So, basically, this mod adds a overall progression to the game. On the first day of the world, the only thing that spawns are animals. The second day, a tiny amount of zombies. Then more zombies the third day. And each night, it just gets tougher and tougher. Also, most currently existing mobs will get 2-3 more counterparts to make the progression last longer as well as some boss-like mobs.. Also, a calender is added that is crafted by putting a golden watch surrounded by paper in the crafting table. The calender will show what mobs spawn on each day.This mod is only activated in hardcore mode.
MOB-LIST
Zombies
- Normal Zombie
- Tough Zombie. Looks like normal zombie, but with purple shirt, black pants, large wound in stomach area, and blue eyes. Does 4 hearts of damage, slower 15 hearts of health.
-Elite Zombie.Larger than normal zombie, black instead of green, red eyes, bloody yellow shirt, ripped pants, and wearing a iron helmet. Does 5 hearts of damage, 20 hearts of health, very slow, immune to lava,fire and cacti damage, causes both food poisoning and cave-spider poison, vampireism.
- Screamer Zombie. Yellow instead of green, white eyes, white shirt and pants, poison dripping from mouth. 6 hearts of health, moves incredibly fast, takes damage from water, poisons on contact, 5 hearts of damage, very loud.

-Enderpex- Smaller than normal spider, larger than cave spider, all black, four purple eyes that look like endermen's, make endermen sounds. They move slightly faster than normal spiders, can not climb walls, latch on to players head and damages them silently, without any noise. Can not teleport. (Spawns in the end, normally.)
-DemonSpider- Similar to the spider in the Champ Mod. Slightly larger than Cave Spider, smaller than the Enderpex. Colored red and orange, yellow eyes, glows slightly. Leaves a trail of the fire block where-ever it goes, sets the player on fire when it hits him, explodes and leaves lava on death.
Creeper
-Normal Creeper
-Vegetable Creeper- Same color as normal creeper, Mismatched face, legs in wrong places. Lies on the ground and explodes when you either hit it or come within 7 blocks of it.
-Blaster- Smaller, orange, has a red x across its chest. When it blows up, it does half a heart of damage to you and a explosion radius of 1, but launches you to a maximum of 20 blocks away.
-Hypnocreeper- Purple and black, Blue eyes, same size as normal creeper. This has a very unique behavior. When it has a line of sight from 13 blocks away, your screen's edges turn blue and frosted looking. You slow down, and your screen is slowly turned towards the Hypnocreeper (you can resist it if you pull the screen fast enough.) When the creeper is looking at you, it can't move. But if it pulls your line of sight close enough to it, it starts glowing and you start levitating towards it. You can resist by looking away. If it gets close enough to you, it blows up like the Blaster, but with 2 hearts of damage, no damage to the land, and 30 blocks distance.( Spawns normally in the end, so that makes the risk of falling especially dangerous.)Same health as normal creeper.
Slimes-NOTE-In this mod, all tiny slimes(except for magma cubes) can be tamed with a right click. Tamed ones can be placed on your head.
-Normal Slime
-Magma Cubes( I know that they aren't technicly slimes, but for my purposes, I am considering them slimes.)
- Muncher. They are orange, have blue eyes and mouth, and have the muncher from super mario world on their back. These eats blocks. The largest type eats 2x2x2 blocks at a time, the medium eats 1 at a time, while the smallest doesn't eat anything. When a muncher eats a block, it goes inside of it. The Muncher plays the eating sound and the block gets smaller and smaller until it disappears.
- Aquams. They are blue with green eyes. Only spawns in water. Does not take fall damage. Jumps 10 blocks high. When it drops, it causes a explosion radius of 4, for large slimes, 2, for medium slimes, and 1, for tiny slimes. Once tamed, their jump is reduced to 4, and they don't explode when they land. Also, They don't take explosion damage.
Endermen
-Normal Endermen
-Firemen/Nethermen. Red eyes, orange body. Does same amount of damage, same amount of health, lights player on fire when it hits him, hostile as soon as the player is within its line of sight. When it spawns, it leaves a rift that looks like the substance in portals. Jumping in it takes you to the nether. Disappears after a few seconds. Spawn normally in the nether.
-Bombermem. Looks the same as a endermen, except that it is carrying a creeper. Has all the same attributes as the endermen, and the creeper explodes when it gets close to you.
-Intendermen. Has dog-like ears, green eyes. Burns in sun-light, has the health of a zombie, and does the damage of a zombie. Also has the sound effect of a zombie. Extremely rare, drops a single diamond.
Ghast
-Normal Ghast
- Enderghost- Black with giant endermen eyes. Considerably smaller than the normal ghast. Fires enderpearls, which teleport you to where the Enderghost currently is if it hits you, making it extremely dangerous.
BOSS-( When you are fighting a boss, epic music is playing)
-MrMsmg8, or Steve's Brother
He looks like steve, but he has arms with creeper like patterns on it. He runs around the map dropping tnt with redstone torches on it untill his health is half down, where he pulls out the diamond sword and starts flying. HP-150 Also has a black wolf that attacks you. HP 50
Tarantulux- 6x6x2 spider that is brown and black. He Jumps around at you. He deals 6 hearts of damage, and can only be damaged by ranged attacks or traps like cacti. HP-75
Skeleton King- A 2x2x4 skeleton with a green robe, a crown, and a golden staff. Deals 2 hearts of damage, but when he slams his staff down, random skeletons in groups of four spawn. HP 200
Enderdragon
Herobrine- Spawns on a red dragon, which is a smaller, less destructive version of the enderdragon. He shoots fire balls at you untill he loses 50 health. He descends from a beam of light, his eyes glowing, and he enters his second phase, where he fights you with his fists. When he loses another 100 health, he enters his third phase, where he floats and shoots ghast fire balls while he summons mobs to attack you. When he loses another 50 health, he dissapears, and drops a glowing orb. If you right click it, a rift appears that looks like the black portal to the end. If you jump in, it teleports you to a 100x100x100 bedrock room with a layer of glowstone inside it. There you fight a version of herobrine that is 6 times enlarged. He shoots snowballs at you, and spawns evil snow golems that attack you with ghast balls. He drops driplets of lava that you need to dodge. When he dies, he drops 100 diamond blocks, 75 iron blocks, 50 gold blocks, and 25 lapis luzzuli.
here's a simple suggestion. I'm wondering if it would be possible to change the behavior of skeleton archers to that of wolves. I haven't quite figured out what to tame them with, but the army of darkness concept is just too tempting to ignore altogether. any feedback would be much appreciated.
