Ever played Amnesia? You know, that creepy game where if you look at monsters, you'll go insane and such. Well that game gave me a idea. What if there was a few mobs added that added depth into the game? Say there's a new mob. Human like, but with half his chest missing, and a creepy cloth over his head. Every time you strike him, you begin to go 'insane'. You can kill the mob, and maybe he might drop an item, but insane is measured by in-game perception. Say that once you kill this mob, small bugs start to crawl over your HUD, and the end of your vision begins to blur. And if you go completely insane, some negative effects might happen, adding variety and risk. All of these effects begin by you slowly crawling and fading to a black screen.
1. You black out. Nothing happens!
2. You've become insane. You'll start seeing things. When you turn around you might see a creeper. He'll make ssssss sound before vanishing. Oh and that diamond you saw? Never there...
3. Start dropping things in a haste. Items might start falling out of your inventory that are not currently equipped.
4. After you black out, you're placed in an ultra-foggy world for 10 minutes. You might only be able to see maybe only five blocks in front of you. You can't tell if it's daytime or not. During these 10 minutes you'll hear those ambiance noises you hear from caves A LOT more, and echo's of zombies moans.
5. Nothing happens with a twist, your transported to the nether with a imporvised compass. This one will work in the nether, and will lead you to a portal. This portal will take you to the surface world.
6.You can't sleep!
7. You can't swim!
