[*:18e9ewhe]Change Minecraft's save folder to a single customizable directory that can be used between user accounts on a computer, which Minecraft will automatically save and load from in place of /username/application data/.minecraft
[*:18e9ewhe]Make Minecraft automatically maintain/replace/reload/backup individual level.dat files for each user account on the computer.
Why, what's the point?
[*:18e9ewhe]With this players can play together at separate times in the same world on single player without having to clear our inventories or move back from their current position before exiting the game.
[*:18e9ewhe]level.dat being maintained for each user means that position, inventory, health, etc are all saved for each individual user.
[*:18e9ewhe]Essentially makes single player support multiplayer to an extent, without needing a server set up.
I hope someone out there makes this request for the community, I'm sure there are others like myself that could use such a modification for playing along side their household and such.
If you know of a modification/application like this that already exists, please pass me a link!
I'm making a relatively simple program that runs a login screen for easy access to multiple level.dats on the same world with a customizable login system.
I might release it later, it should work on windows xp/vista/7
Only part of the request is fulfilled with this, though.
I have no idea how to make mods and such btw. This is an entirely external application.
