I'd say add Liteloader, Risugami's and Rift to your list of answers please to make it more fair for those that use older versions or just counting ALL modloaders, not just targeting Forge & Fabric only and making this a 'whats the best modloader of 1.14+'. More results and fair answers is what I'd like to see.
But I'd say I enjoy Fabric more. Not just because I make discussion threads, but as I am a mod spotlighter of "ALL" modloaders (from 1.7.10 to 1.16, not just new versions only) I get a good feel for what every one of them offers (and what the community does across all versions every day) and because I wanted to explore what they all do to be knowledgeable and have fun with them, I'm in no way a fan of or user of 1 modloader, but in the end I just enjoy Fabric more.
Forge obviously on old versions no question, and while I have experience with it like many people do and I've only had brief time with Liteloader and Rift but they do have their charm. But Fabric just does it for me for being quick to update, lightweight on performance and having mods I enjoy looking into than Forge, I don't use Fabric because it's the new shiny modloader, I document it and so on, I'll gladly go back to 1.12.2 or prior and use Liteloader or use 1.13/1.13.2 for Rift exclusively even Forge 1.2.5 if I'm in the mood. Forge isn't a bad modloader by any means though even in 1.13+ versions I just have been enjoying Fabric for what it does and what mods it's offered.
If I had to rank them:
1.Fabric
2.Forge
3.Rift
4.Liteloader (is good but I've only had a bit of experience with it)
5.Risugami's Modloader (is also a good modloader but I've not had much experience with it or been able to use it successfully).
Which loader do you use or prefer?
