Hello, my name is Valentin and I have a problem with mi craft 1.12.2. I have an RTX 2070, an i5-900k and 16 gb of ram. I downloaded like 30 mods And seus renewed 1.0.0 shaders for my Minecraft 1.12.2 and Idk why but I run the game at 120 fps and suddenly drops to 12 and constantly like that, 15 seconds playing ok at 120 fps and suddenly drop to 12 again, does anyone know if this is common or had same problem? How did you solve it? Or how would you think this could be solved?
Yeah! Whithout shaders same problem, 400fps and crash to 12 fps, and checked and it’s the last forge version
That sounds like a memory issue, your fps goes up before your memory hits 100% and then when it hits 100% your fps drops.
Your gonna have to go into your launcher settings for that profile and go to advanced options (I think), then find JVM arguments and find the "Xmx 1" and change it to "Xmx 3" (or higher, 4-5 is the usual). I think that's how you do it lol

Thank you, valentin
Certain versions of Forge for 1.12.2 caused lag. make sure your using the most up to date version of Forge.
Also, have you tried it w/o the shaders?

1. How much memory have you allocated? Modded 1.12.2 requires more than normal (4-6G).
2. Is the MC launcher using the latest version of Java?
3. Did you install 64 bit Java?
4. Are the graphics drivers updated?
