can I download Replay Mod for Minecraft 1.14.4 for Forge Mod loader somewhere? Because I can only see Fabric for 1.14.4, I need to use the Forge, because I have Forge version of WorldEdit installed and would like to use the Replay Mod for recording some lengthy building process, while being able to use WorldEdit. I know there is also Fabric version of WorldEdit, but I don't want to overwrite my installation of mods. Does Fabric overwrite other mods (Forge)? Do I need to install Fabric in order to use Replay Mod? Or does a Forge version exist somwhere? I need thel latest version of Replay Mod for 1.14.4...
So it doesn't matter if I have both Forge and Fabric mods in mods folder, right? Eighter Forge or Fabric mods are loaded, according to this info. So I have two versions of WorldEdit now: Forge and Fabric. And also Replay Mod.
Fabric and Forge mods can't work alongside each other at all. It's best to put them in there own folder separated so you don't get them mixed up. Think of it if you ran Liteloader and Forge together for 1.12.2, ignore the fact that Liteloader can run alongside Forge and that the mods are ignored or crash the game forcing you to deal with it. (Fabric ignores the Forge mods and you can still play no problem, while Forge tells you it can't load the mods and won't work unless you deal with them).
Something like setting a path for Forge or Fabric and use the main mods folder for the other.
Yes, if you want to run multiple Profiles on a launcher, you need to make separate folders for each Profile. Using a third party launcher like Twitch or MultiMC makes this easier.

You can separate mods by putting another folder inside your mods folders. Just call it 1.12.2 or 1.14.4 or somethings. Just remember that for Forge 1.12.2 and below mods will be ran inside that one deeper folder, in 1.13+ for Forge or even Rift/Fabric modloaders you can't run them in deeper folders. If you want things to be easier so you don't have to move mods in and out so you want to play Forge or Fabric 1.14.4 mods (a common situation for me, and like I said I don't need to move my 1.12.2 and below versions of mods) or other situations above 1.13 for mods then best to get another launcher like majestyc2k1 said above using Twitch or MultiMC as they make it easy to create multiple profiles for any version of Minecraft, mod it and play. While with the Vanilla launcher your stuck with just adding more modloaders to the launcher, changing profiles within 1 mods folder and putting 1 deeper folder (for 1.12.2 and below Forge versions of course not 1.13+) instead of separate folders, separate instances and it being more cleaner with Twitch or MultiMC. I'll show what I mean with screenshots.

Vanilla Launcher mods separating
1.14 modpacks sure, but all separated with their own mods
MultiMC modpack with 1.14.3 mods no deeper folders needed
I mean running Fabric and Forge alongside each other, and having a mods/fabric and/or a mods/forge folder
No, you can't run both Forge and Fabric at the same time. The Profile has to be one or the other. Fabric was created because of the delay in Forge for MC 1.14.

1.12.2 Forge and prior you can run mods in a deeper folder and run Forge alongside Liteloader.
Any modloaders from 1.13 onwards can't run mods alongside each other, whether it be Forge and Rift or Forge and Fabric mods neither a compatible and they don't work in deeper folders either of /mods/1.14, /mods/Rift /mods/Forge (1.13 or 1.14) and /mods/Fabric. It may happen in the future but for now it's not possible and they aren't compatible.

The Hell Good Boy!
According to the mod's website, 1.14.4 is only available for Fabric right now. You can either wait, or continue with Forge.
Forge and Fabric mods are not compatible. They won't even load in each other's Profiles.

Is there any way to separate the mods folders?
