I and my friend have created a world and have an ME system. a couple days ago we started to make a Jurassic Park with our Jurassic craft mod about 100 or so blocks away from our base. we wanted to have our me system there so I ran a dense cable all the way to the park. because we have the chicken bones mod with the duping mod, resources were not a problem. after expanding the theme system at the park, it randomly stopped working even though it only used 22 out of 32 channels of the dense cable. originally I thought it was a power problem so I plugged the big reactor straight into it. even though my Redstone flux ducts were supplying 32,00 rf/t. the ME system only took in exactly or less than it consumed. then I decided to break the cable that goes to our Jurassic Park. and all of the drives lit back up. also not sure if this helps but when the system was down, the controllers were still lit but the drives had no power. if I took a drive out though, then put it back in the whole drive cage would light it?????????. until shortly after it turns off again. chunks are not an issue here as I have chunk loaders at both bases and in between. Please help I have no clue what is going on!
What was the situation on chunkloading? Other than that everything isn't too easy to come up with a conclusion of oddities/anomalies, at least not to me as of now. The 32,000 is making me confused but I assume that was constant and you obviously have a good power system/reactor setup so not going to question that as a possibility and you would have appropriate fluxducts for higher rates. I don't know really what to say. It is a tricky one. Someone will have a theory, I just don't have a strong one right now.

I have chunk loaders at my Jurassic park and my main base. I have a 5x5 big reactor supplying sufficient power. the Red stone flux ducts that connect to my me controller can carry up to 32,000 RF/t.a few minutes ago, I got it to work. I thought everything was fine. I went to move my build craft quarry and just out of curiosity I checked the terminal there and I did not work. I knew that the channels were maxed on that line. I broke the lines and when I went to get materials to lay a new one, the drives stopped working. I waited around 2 minutes because I know you need to wait for it to update but no luck. but this time the terminals acted like they were online and running but i just took all of the drives out. when I checked the drives once again the were grey as if they had no power. I'm stumped. Could it be a problem with the drive cages? or the loading of chunks. it worked fine a couple of days ago. all that i changed was that i added 2 more terminals around the park. i have since deleted those terminals. i have 8 controllers, 367 dense cables, 97 covered cables, 127 glass cables, 18 terminals, 23 storage monitors, 8 drive bays(only 3 filled with drives ), and 1 import bus(for quarry)
i have re created my me network on a single player world but with less cables and distance and it worked fine. could it be server lag? i host my own server and i have 9 gigs of ram allocated to it. should I allocate more. is the distance of the ME system? as far as I know there's no max cable length.
