Hello! I am playing a modpack and I need power. I am new to tech mods and I'm trying to find a source of power to get Enderium Ingots from Ender IO so I can get a pretty overpowered tinkers construct pickaxe.Oh and if this helps, I'm using the golden cobblestone modpack from the atlauncher.
An industrial-craft reactor setup can provide you decent amounts of power at a low pricepoint assuming you have your design and automated processing/reprocessing equipment set up right. It also gives you plutonium after you burn your uranium, allowing you to build RTGs or nuclear bombs.
A Big Reactors reactor setup would be a tad more expensive, but it also has better bang per buck ratios than the industrial craft reactor setup. I would personally recommend a graphite moderated water cooled reactor attached to a steam turbine to generate electrical energy for your base as those designs tend to work quite well. It should be noted that you can also use Big Reactors Bluetonium to produce industrialcraft MOX fuel. Upon burning that MOX fuel in an industrialcraft reactor and reprocessing you will get industrialcraft plutonium that can be then used in an RTG or nuclear weaponry. This allows for a complex mixed cycle dependent upon the breeding efficiency of the Big Reactors reactor. Assuming you have a high Big Reactors breeding efficiency you can produce far more plutonium for bomb making and RTG fueling than with a industrialcraft reactor. However this setup does cost more in resources and time to setup than an industrialcraft reactor and thus while the advantages are good the costs may outweigh them.

Ender IO solar panel Kinda cheap to make and don't cost anything for upkeep its free power. 1 or 2 will run a alloy smelter for a little bit. They are also a multiblock so you can add on more and get more power.

Thanks!
Which One Do I Use? (I Feel like a noob for saying this)
How cheap?

The cheapest generator you could build would be the Stirling Generator from EnderIO, it's also upgradeable if you ever need more power.
