Is there a way I can optimize a larger modpack, so that I don't kill someone's computer with it? I found some tech mods I want to use in my modpack, but, it ended up bloating up to around 172 mods or so if I update it now with the current mods. It would probably count as more if I didn't remove unneeded modules from Minefactory Reloaded.
Or am I going to have to just deal with users having bad computers?
If you're going to use that many, it's best to start off with one of the larger mopacks like FTB monster or unleashed etc. and then build on that. At least you know you're starting off with a bunch of tried and tested versions that are known to work together well and they often include optimizations for running it.

I planned on the possibility of including it.
