Battle Block is a remade version of the original console game in the multiplayer pvp based gaming franchise “Battle Field”. Powered by the “Official Crafting Dead: Cure” mod for Minecraft we will be able to replicate the WWII style game in a profound unseen way never found in the Minecraft universe. To learn more about Andrew Ferullo's Crafting Dead mod just look it up and I promise this article will make much more sense!
What is Battle Field and why is it so special?
The visuals and game play that surrounds Minecraft is a lovable friendly world. Even the violence finds a way to be subtle. Mostly because of its simplistic blocky feel, it can be most addictive. One of the very first violent and graphic multiplayer, pvp games of its times was “Battle Field” and it was an amazing success. Then all the other more complicated games came out. What the players wanted was more! More game modes, weapons, maps and most of all they, wanted a more realistic game to play. Battle Field’s genius game play style was forgotten. Like Minecraft it was simple and lovable for the audience. Battlefield gave you three classes to choose from, Rifleman, Artillery and Sniper. After you chose your class the game would start and you would spawn on an old WWII style aircraft carrier. As if you were prepping for a post-pearl harbor battle on a Hawaii Island you would take off on a boat or plane or stay on the massive ship to be a gunner and shoot down planes. As most people left on a boat they would reach the island and quickly get out for they had to raise their Japanese or American flags at specified areas on the island to win. It was harder then it sounded after all the flags were captured and players were defending and attacking all of the flags. The reason the flags were so special was because once a flag was captured by your team and you had more flags under your team’s name the other team they would slowly start to lose points. Mathematically it works like this, think of your teams flag’s as a +1 and the other team’s flags as a -1. Now here is the example, you have 3 flags and the other team has 2 (there are only 5 flags through out all the maps) now that means you have 1+1+1 or 3. They have -1-1 or -2. Then you would have to say I have +3-2 points subtracting the other teams score of 100 every five seconds. Get it? Ok your flags minus their flags, who ever is in the debt is getting that many points subtracted from their score every 5 seconds and a flag represents the value of 1 who ever is at 0 first loses! That is all there is too the entire game not even a campaign. It was fun and still is.
What will be different between Battle Field and Battle Block?
To keep people who are not interested or care about the game from trolling and messing around you will only have 10 lives. Another way to keep the game hard is people only spawn at the flags and if there are no flags on your team you can only spawn on your team’s air-craft carrier. This adds a realistic “push forward to win” feel to the game. The points system will definitely be different, for in Battle Field it was very unorganized and wont work with Minecraft. But it will adopt a newer simpler to follow points system. Killing a person will award you with +10 experience points (xp). If possible to code into the game assists will be +5, capturing a flag will be +30 and a capture-flag assist which means you weren’t the first person to enter the territory to start lowering or raise the flag gives you +15. The rank system is linked to the points system; obviously, for once you get up to 200 points you will go up a “grade”. There are 2, 3, 4, 5, or 9 grades for every rank. Once you get the amount of points you need and pass every grade you will rank up and then it will take 220 points to go up a grade in your new rank. Next rank it will take 240, then 260, and it will continuously go up +20 more every rank you go up. Here is the rank system:
What is it about anyway?

What does the rank system look like?
With the hard work from Andrew Ferullo and his new 1.9 update this will be simply entertaining fun.
