So i have downloaded this Xray mod: and Optifine HD 1.7.10 Ultra A4 and I want to use them both in one profile, at the same time, so that i get the great performance boost and the handy X-ray tool. You should probably know that I am a complete noob when it comes to installing mods, you should also know that I am using Mac and please can I have a clear step by step guide on this and please leave any links for me.

Yeah, you won't be able to use this mod with optifine I think. Mainly because it edits base-classes, and is originally for 'hackers'/griefers.
