Hello I'm blocksmash2002 and I'm looking for coders textures and modelers for a mod called world animals past and present. the past and presant part is so we can have prehistoric creatures like indicatheom and ornithomimus and stuff like that but be warned this mod is going to be huge!!!! Just say if you want to in the comments also there is going to be about 10-15 animals from each country so coders be ready feel free to put your coding skills in the comments below thx
I like your work so you can help if you want to
Lets start with a minmi
Its an australian dinosaur like a ankylosaur but tiny just search 'minmi'
Just put it down in your comment the picture
I was thinking how about when we make fish and stuff we should make them run away from the player so u need to make a Rov to get close to them
it's model is almost done, then i need to texture, sorry it's taking so long, got a new desktop so ive been tranferring things, should be done soon. An R.O.V., cool about how big? About a block long, half a block high and wide?

If all things evolve, then tomorrow i wish to be something better than i am today, how about you?
You know instead of having so many dino mods out there. Why not have just around 3? Right now I'm heading the Fossils and Archaeology mod: Jurassic Park Edition. We can merge our efforts like how prehistoric fish mod, jurassicraft merged with me.

Do you know why reptiles, fish, and amphibians evolved to lay tons of eggs?

Yeah because they're r-selected species. Which means that they don't waste any energy on raising the offspring. They lay as many as possible, and hope that a good portion makes it out into adulthood. Their survival rates are also very low. So a large number of mods based around one core idea(in this case dinosaurs) are highly unlikely to succeed unless they combine their resources and work together and create a vast pool of resources and find dedicated people to help. Humans are K-selected species, a main reason as to why they're so successful. They spend tremendous amount of energy and resources to ensure the survival and success of their offspring. Although now it's more of an r-selected species, humans don't produce so many offspring to ensure the successful passing of genes and survival of the species, but instead out of boredom and using children to gain more resources. That's why you see very few animal mods that are successful. Atmosmobs and mo'creatures are the most successful. Orespawn is a recent hit. There may be tons more small ones, but they are rather unpopular and unused.
i see it as quite the opposite, more mods, more that will be launched successfully, but this is my opinion, you have your own, which is fine, i just felt like letting you know what mine is.

I understand that it's your opinion, but have you ever made a mod before? or helped? I'm heading my own mod right now, and modders need all the help they can get, unless they feel otherwise, in that case they're super-skilled and about as rare as emeralds and diamonds. More mods means more confusion, fewer available original ideas, coders become scarce as teams begin taking the few available coders, and overall fewer resources. A couple mods centered around one core idea allows for teams to find good coders much more easily. Modelers and texturers are as common as iron. If you do happen to come across a coder, it's highly unlikely that they're experienced or atleast good. They tend to be able to only code blocks or items most of the time. Fewer mods=more resources.

then those coders get no experience , and i am helping with about 4 mods and a private one for me and some friends.

i recently got a new computer, i started the minmi model on my old laptop, i can't get it to transfer correctly so i have to finish it on the laptop, which is fairly laggy.
