[...] A filter that automatically creates one or more commandblock structure/s that test for blocks on a flat surface and then sets the corresponding block on another flat surface. when the block on the first surface is removed the corresponding block on the other surface is set to air too. Check out my Video too so you know what i mean. [...]
OMG THANKS! I will test it now!
(Quotes don't work on ipad )
Werde ich machen. Es ist aber ein subskribier Special daswegen könnte es eine Weile dauern.
Okaaay. I tested it and the command blocks appeared, the commands were correct. Just one thing. There is that green block right? And i figured that was where i had to power it. now i put a lever on it flicked it aaannnd it crashed. i reopened the world and it instantly crashed not even showing the world for a millisecond. i removed the flicked lever in mcedit, retried but still the same. I could probably delete the whole thing. Still, is there any way to fix this?

As joeyinthehouse said, remove the Command Blocks and then run the filter again. If it still doesn't work, please send me the world save. Also, could you please post issues or enhancement requests on the issue tab of my GitHub page in the future?
You must know a lot of math to make these filters!
I really am not too bad at maths, but I think coding MCEdit Filters (also coding in general) rather takes creativity or being innovative. Most of the time I need to create a filter I either play minecraft trying to find the most compact way to build something (like in Garfield's filter) or just sit in front of the PC trying to think of a way I can code something (for example, the ends of the line with the command blocks in Garfield's filter). Sorry if this didn't make any sense at all, as I mentioned before I'm ill
I know this is slightly off-topic, but would someone give me a quick run-down of how to get/use MCEdit filters?
First, you have to download the *.py file of the filter. In MCEdit you select something, click on the icon for the filter tool (I think it's the fourth one from the left, but I don't know for sure) and click on the text that says "Filter:" (not the Filter button!) which should open a folder. Then you have to put your downloaded *.py file in the folder, restart MCEdit and then you should be able to select the filter from the dropdown menu of the filter tool.

Ok i fixed it. simply deleted and remade. now it works! just that the connecting lines have the repeaters one (block/meter/space?) too far and so the signal did not arrive. i fixed this manually. this would be pretty annoying when making even bigger ones. It would be great if you would fix this but its ok if you don't. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!! I will give you credit in the video and in the description along with a link to this page and a link to the download. Is that ok? I'll also post a link to the video when its doneand i have 100 subscribers. right now it's at 70.

Just watch some YT tutorials if you have the time. SethBling has made some good beginner videos about MCEdit, and I think Vechs has also made many tutorials (although I have to admit, I have never watched one of them myself ).

It doesn't really matter, but it's just much easier for me to manage issues that way.
Thanks, I'm glad I could help!
Just watch some YT tutorials if you have the time. SethBling has made some good beginner videos about MCEdit, and I think Vechs has also made many tutorials (although I have to admit, I have never watched one of them myself ).
Great, I'll do that!
Note to self: Visit SethBling's YouTube channel and watch some MCEdit videos!
Nvm I fixed it now. Just download and install the filter again!
Ok Thanks!
To be able to handle enities. Not even a need to post on your GitHub.
