Hello there. For the past couple days, I've been fighting with a few mods that just refuse to work, giving me this error, namely Pam's WeeeFlowers and TemperatePlants and Fossil and Archaeology Revival. I posted this error in the repsective mod's topics, but have recieved either no reply or I'm told that I'm not using the correct version, though the files I have came from the 1.5.2 download link, which is the MC version I'm running. (Many of the mods I'm using haven't updated to 1.6x yet, hence why I still have the old launcher in addition to the new)
I'm running a Mac OSX 10.8.4 and have updated Java yesterday. Zip files are downloaded as openable folders for me, but this doesn't seem to be a problem as the other 50+ mods I'm running work just fine. I've tried compressing them into .zips, changing them to .jars, taking out a folder level, adding in a folder level, with no luck.
This is the most recent crash report from the Fossils mod. I took out all other mods before this to make sure it was the new mod and not the old ones causing the problem.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or how to fix this?

I hear mac is bad for java, but that is one thing you should really fix up; 1.6 is simply not good enough nowadays.
Also, on another note, can you link me the fossil mod download? I wanna check it out to see if a suspicion is correct.
You managed to decompile and continue without me giving source code? O_O Bro, you are a god. Of course do whatever the [REDACTED] you want!!!! Good luck on it

I just updated Java yesterday, and the Java control panel is saying I'm running Java 7 update 25, and is saying that the runtime versions are 1.7.
Fossil craft worked, and the flowers. Your error log says your using java 1.6; you may want to check that out in your launcher config. Also, I highly recommend you update lwgjl; your log says you're using 2.4; current is 2.9; consider using the new 1.6.2 launcher? Its not as bad as people say.

I've tried using the new launcher. It worked for awhile, but now when I try to use a modded 1.5.2 version, I hit play, the launcher closes, but the game doesn't come up. =/
How do I go about updating this lwgjl? Is it the force-update under the options button in the old launcher?
Okay, color me stupid, but I can't figure out where/how to find the launcher config.
I tried the force-update thing, and that got the fossils mod to load without crashing(well, other than some ID errors when adding in the other mods, but those are easy enough to fix), but the flowers still crash.
Color me stupid?

Remove this mod!
If I didn't want to use this mod, I would remove it,though Build 5.1 is working just fine, so long as I don't have Binnie's Extra Trees/Bees installed.
I'd like to find where the launcher config is to try to make it use the newest Java I installed, as well as knowing what this LWJGL is and how to update that.

Light Weight Java Game Library. Easy update; simply use the new Launcher. You can do it manually too, but its not worth the effort XD

Ah,at least the update is simple.
Though when I try to use the new launcher, I run into a problem with launching the modded version. Vanilla 1.6.2 and 1.5.2 launch just fine. I go to launch the modded 1.5.2, and the only thing I get is the launcher closing and the game never opening. I'm not entirely sure why, it just started happening all of a sudden.

Simple fix, lol. Make a copy of the 1.5.2 version folder, name it Forge-1.5.2; rename the jar and json inside that, and open the json in your text editor for mac and change the id to Forge-1.5.2;
then you just install forge the old way, open the Forge-1.5.2.jar and add the forge classes into that.

I've done all this. I had a modded 1.5.2 work with the new launcher before, but now it's not working anymore. Hitting play with the modded profile selected just closes the launcher, the game refuses to open.

Yeah, I know this error. you're going about this the entirely wrong way.
1. Create a new profile (its a throwaway) and tell it to use version "Release 1.5.2"
2. Play the game with this profile until it gets at least to the title screen, then close.
3. Go to minecraft/versions and copy the 1.5.2 folder, name the copy Forge-1.5.2
3. Enter the new Forge-1.5.2 folder, rename the jar and json file to Forge-1.5.2.jar/json
4. Open Forge-1.5.2.json in a text editor and change
"id": "1.5.2"
to
"id": "Forge-1.5.2"
5. Get the latest forge 1.5.2 jar, and do the usual magic (open Forge-1.5.2.jar [this is what used to be minecraft.jar] and copy the contents of the forge 738 jar into it, deleting the mojang certs from meta-inf (leave the manifest).
6. Create your new, permanent profile, name it whatever you want, and tell it to use the version "release Forge-1.5.2"
7. Place your mods into minecraft/mods.
On another note your launcher profile is still showing that you are using java 1.6; You really need to get that fixed.

That's what I've been doing, but I'll try it again.
How do I go about fixing the Java problem?I can't seem to locate the launcher config.

No idea, I've never had the misfortune of dealing with a mac. And I can tell from the error log that its not quite like that, lol. Its looking for (and failing to find) minecraft/versions/minecraft/minecraft.jar, which tells me right off you have your launcher set to some other version than the Forge-1.5.2 one.

I'm running a couple of Pam's other mods just fine(desert craft and extended glass).

How do I go about updating this lwgjl? Is it the force-update under the options button in the old launcher?
I tried the force-update thing, and that got the fossils mod to load without crashing(well, other than some ID errors when adding in the other mods, but those are easy enough to fix), but the flowers still crash.

LWJGL: 2.4.2
Remove this mod!
If I didn't want to use this mod, I would remove it,though Build 5.1 is working just fine, so long as I don't have Binnie's Extra Trees/Bees installed.
I'd like to find where the launcher config is to try to make it use the newest Java I installed, as well as knowing what this LWJGL is and how to update that.
Google it.

I'm not entirely sure why, it just started happening all of a sudden.
then you just install forge the old way, open the Forge-1.5.2.jar and add the forge classes into that.

It's not giving me a log or report, but this is what the launcher Dev. Console tab is saying. Launcher didn't close this time, surprisingly.
4. Open Forge-1.5.2.json in a text editor and change to

How do I go about fixing the Java problem?I can't seem to locate the launcher config.
