Adfly always scares me ;-; But all you have to do is click skip ad.
After that it may take you to a download website, you said this was Mediafire.
Honestly, i love downloading things from Mediafire and my computer is just fine, Mcreator is not some bad program, but people just have to use these websites to let you download it.
I cringed when you didn't knew the MediaFire was a known file sharing site.
MCreator is safe. But don't please use MCreator, we don't need more MCreator mods. Refer to jcm2606's list of bad things MCreator has.
@BluePixelStarz, false positive?

If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.
It Is Unsafe Im Sorry We Have Norton And it says Its Unsafe
Norton is an AV program known for being exceptionally jumpy at the tiniest things. Any and all Batch / Bash scripts are flagged as viruses if they have the "del" command in them, basically all not-commonly-used executables are flagged as viruses because they're not stored on the database, Norton is exceptionally stupid when it comes to performance (it'll sit there and complain about "Java Runtime Environment using 70% CPU!" when it itself chews through 20% or so total CPU usage, and more in memory. Plus, all the "benefits" of the premium package can be found in the majority of free AV programs available online. I use Avira and it has every single thing Norton has and isn't as obsessive over the system performance and doesn't go off at a script containing a delete command.
TL;DR, Norton is jumpy and will flag almost any unrecognised software as malicious, and is overall a horrible AV program. Don't trust what it says every time. Do research.
I read the history of spysheriff which is a rogue security program. When I scroll down and read the "websites" part, it said that MCreator can install SpySheriff after you downloaded MCreator. But in year, 2015, MCreator will no longer install SpySheriff anymore, so MCreator is safe and you can now install it.
Yes, MCreator is 100% Safe. If it makes you feel any better though, when you finish downloading, you can scan it with any Virus/Malware Scanner you have. You Should Have on, if you don't I would Highly Recommend getting one.
It's safe, but is it really worth it? Obviously, there's the fact that it gets less respect than a chihuahua turd, but I have something to add.
I'll admit, one time I tried to use MCreator. I wanted to make an ore and a couple items. It didn't make any of those things, but it DID change stone's texture to what I wanted the ore's to be... and it never changed back. I deleted the file, I deleted MCreator, nothing. It affected every world I ever made, no matter what other mods were in it. Even worse, I'd made the ore pure black with eyes looking out of it, so now whenever I went into a cave I was surrounded by creepy staring faces. I had to redownload Minecraft to fix it.
Now, maybe I was just such a shitty modder I couldn't even use MCreator right, but do you really want to take that risk, especially if people would just mock whatever you made anyway?
If you download creator on Google Chrome, it can say it is malicious, but it's actually not, just a false positive
