Also, whatcha think about some ores dropping dust instead of gems, and then smelting the dust into ingots or crafting it into blocks on the crafting table? Don't really know what could do that irl, but it'd add something a little different to the equation in the mod, I think.

Awesome things:
The orange is awesome! Glad it's a rustic-kinda color and not an in-your-face orange. Closer resemblance to a vanilla Minecraft feel, if you know what I mean.
Loving that the agate tools are not OP. Will it be the first semi-common gem?
And I got to thinking about something unique for the mod; how about some sort of rare temple or ruin where you can only find certain super rare, OP gems? Not sure how hard that'd be to code, but it'd provide something kind of unique to draw in the mod-using community. And it'd be a nice platform, if you will, for other stuffz.

I noticed in the files, you added lapis tools pics? Are those implemented in-game??
Oh yeah, I forgot, after I am done with this mod, I am making the Useless Mods mod.... it just changes useless items like Dirt, Glowstone, Netherrack, etc, into tools and armor. I just started on the sprites.

And do you know if this is compatible with Forge? Might seem like a random question, but I'm thinking of different things for my LP and I would like some stuff only available with Forge. No worries if not! Seems like a ton of stuff is going to be added with this mod alone.

BTW, the items not showing up in the creative gui, there's an easy fix for that. in the BlockYOURBLOCK or ItemYOURITEM just put this line of code;
