I just trying to add a simple item into the game, but for some reason, minecraft can't find the png texture i'm trying to use.
the code i'm using:
superblockItem = (new ItemSuperBlock(4001, 1)).setIconIndex(ModLoader.addOverride("/gui/items.png", "superblock.png")).setItemName("superblockItem");
it always comes up with an error saying it can't find the file. Where should i be putting it?
i currently have it in: mcpfolder\temp\bin\minecraft\gui
right next too the items.png
Not really sure where it should be, does anyone know?

Edit: So I reobfuscated the code and put the png file in there, which works, so I get what you were saying bardock, but is there any way to test the mod without reobfuscating and installing that into my real jar?

All you have to do is put in your jar
If you wanted it in a folder it would be
