I tried to make a map in the Aether and it worked but there is no cursor and the map doesn't load quite well. It's difficult to tell where you are and the Aether blocks(dirt,trees,all carved stone) show up as their normal Minecraft counterpart which is non-grassy dirt and is really ugly. The last part is the actual map color changes when you wear gloves it's really weird. That is all I found out please tell me if this was helpful.
p.s. Just a suggestiom make flying whales spawn higher and make them last longer in the air if not please let be able to kill them.
My game really glitched out when I exited while I was poisoned. When I got back on I was taking damage every half-second and I seemed to be stuck to blocks around me so I had to break them
After installing the aether mod, diamond picks mine obsidian significantly faster (2.5ish seconds rather than 15).
I uninstalled it and reinstalled it to check.
Wow screw this mod until it has a MAJOR update. I like the mod and understand that its big and will take some time to do anything, but I just can't stand whales getting stuck on absolutely nothing and constantly being on fire inside my base...It's ridiculous. I have removed almost half of my base just to push this thing out in hopes that it will fly away, but no it just goes further into my base in attempts to get stuck even more.

Don't know if it was mentioned yet (I didn't see it in the initial post), but if the player is poisoned by a dart and dies, the player may still be poisoned upon respawn.
There is already twooficial bug list sites for the Aether. And an Aether forum and an IRC (link found on AetherMod tread) for the Aether, with links to all the other sites.
So sorry if you think Im rude or something, but I see no use in another bug list, since all these bugs is already listed there. If not, 92% of them. Along with an open suggestion list.
Would you please link to these? A google search for 'aether mod bugs' doesn't turn up anything bug related besides this, a blog with a single post claiming to have solutions to aether mod problems, and posts about specific bugs for 2 pages.

Not sure if these has been posted already but...
In the final room of he silver dungeon, multiple boss valkries spawn. (Usually around three or four), and they won't attack me unless i'm on normal difficulty or higher (Bug?)
You guys know the lag that occurs when you begin a fight with the gold dungeon boss? Well for me that lag is extended.
When mining a block on a gold dungeon (like the golden trees that spawn on a dungeon), a mini-freeze occurs right before the block actually breaks and drops its resource. The same occurs when I place a block on the dungeon (Like on the aethergrass on top of the dungeon. I rightclick, the game minifreezes, and then places the block. The hellfire and sentry stones in the cavern where the boss resides don't seems to be affected, but everything else seems to be. (This only happens on a gold dungeon. Nowhere else.)
Dungeon spawn code isn't fixed. (Bug?) Say I use a seed. The world generates, and in the aether, I find a dungeon. I start a new world using the same seed, venture to the spot where the dungeon was, and its not there. Does'nt exist.

Forgive me if some of these have already been mentioned. I prefer to just type in all the bugs I have encountered without reading to see if they have been posted already.
- Rarely though not impossible, multiple bronze dungeons will merge into each other during map generation. This can result in blocks breaking before the bosses are killed and rooms generated under bosses preventing loot chest from spawning.
- Often when the player kills the sun spirit the room with the loot chest will not open. It can be opened by breaking the blocks directly however. This might be due to players laying blocks close to doors. I have noticed dungeon blocks do not like to appear nor vanish if close to blocks foreign to the dungeon. Blocks near the entrance seem to affect the chest room as well.
- Sometimes when the player kills the sun spirit mounts near the entrance will die. I'm going to guess a result of blocks vanishing or some sort of despawn mechanic affecting the moas.
- When the player dies special items used in slots part of the mod capes, trinkets, rings, necklace, etc... will not drop and simply vanish.
- Sometimes when the player dies from a boss battle the boss's HP bar will not vanish. This can become very annoying if the next bug in this list occurs.
- Sometimes when a player dies from a boss battle the bosses room will not reopen and will forever be inaccessible. This might be due to players laying blocks close to doors. I have noticed dungeon blocks do not like to appear nor vanish if close to blocks foreign to the dungeon.
- Almost 100% of the time you are killed inside a silver dungeon half your loot and gear will vanish if not all of it.
- Often when the player lands on a cold, yellow, or blue aeroclouds from high places they will still take fall damage. Though I'm not entirely sure I think this is the result of players landing on the boundaries of several aeroclouds.
- The player cannot venture through portals while mounted. As a result mounts taken out of Aether via dropping down into the abyss cannot be taken back to Aether.
- Although this may be a problem with minecraft itself because of the nature of the Aether mod where players are encouraged to travel long distances sometimes the game will run out of memory and close itself. This often results in lost items or deleted inventory. Signs of this are
---Blocks spawning but not visible.
---Accumulation in occurrence of lag sometimes to the point of the game becoming unplayable until reset.
Two things that aren't bugs, but worth mentioning.
-- Moas, Please for the love of god reduce the frequency that they use their Call sound. If you are breeding moas for mounts. All you will hear is constant non stop moa calls. Very very annoying.
-- Valkyries and Sun spirits lack a proper damage sound. When damaged you will hear the same sound as when the player is damaged. This was some what confusing when I first played Aether because I often though I was being damaged even when I wasn't.
I have a humble suggestion to reduce player travel a bit. I know that to a certain extent dungeons are based on preexisting designs with perhaps a bit of flexibility for random generation and such. Maybe it wouldn't be to off the wall if some sort of dungeon memory were created during map generation. Maybe the game could recall its default design and possibly reset a "cleared" dungeon after a certain appropriate time.
Another somewhat related suggestion is to prevent players from placing blocks in active dungeons or clear blocks when a dungeon is reset. This will allow walls that seal shut to work normally rather then glitching out when foreign blocks are too close.
I would Like to add to the post that although I posted many bugs that might seem up front and broad I only do so because I love this mod greatly and want to help make it better in whatever way I can. Please do not take offense that I am pointing out errors nor am I trying to overwhelm the creators.
Ok, I am not good at defending myself at all, and I don't want to screw up and lose everything I've worked for in my world. So I was wondering.... do hostile mobs still spawn on peaceful up there? I want to go to the Aether really bad, but I really don't think I'm prepared. At all. I.... might be able to fight the bosses, because you can fight them by choice and if I'm not prepared I don't have to. But other mobs can spawn anywhere and I really don't want to deal with them all the time.
I wanted to add as a bug/glitch that water/lava is not shown, but can still hurt you/suffocate you. IT IS SO FREAKING ANNOYING BECAUSE I CAN'T GET INTO THE AETHER WITHOUT GLOWSTONE AND THATS IN THE NETHER SO I NEED LAVA TO MAKE OBSIDIAN TO MAKE A NETHER PORTAL AND I KEEP ON STEPPING IN THE LAVA INSTEAD OF GETTING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! = cuz i cant see it.
I noticed a bug or a glitch in Aether. I really really need someone to help me. An inventory glitch. My character Faces to the right in the inventory. Here, I'll show you:
When I first went into the portal of the dimension it said that theres was bugs and stuff but when i got in there was project E generators and enchanting plus tables and pumpkins like this castle formation ( a castle made of those blocks ) and then my map says I'm in the instanced zone and everything was black besides the castle and I can see like tinkers construct slime islands idk what is going on.
