It honestly really depends. The reason it's taking us a while is because of a lighting bug which causes the teleportation from the Surface to the Aether take a REALLY long time. If we fix that, I'd say 2 weeks or so.
Will this epic mod be compatible with the Advanced Minecraft Mod/Mo' Creatures? Just wanted to know. I have always followed the Aether Mods out there, and this is the best one I could find. I have Mo' Creatures and Advanced Minecraft, so...
Can there be some option to make aether portals out of something from the overworld? (e.g. Marble) In case, y'know, we don't want to have to go to the Nether, or find, build to and mine out 108 glowstone blocks...
No. However, we are probably going to change it so that Glowstone drops a Glowstone Block when mined. To get Glowstone Dust, you would just place on block in the working bench and get 4 of them.
Also, since the Aether in this mod really is *above* the overworld, does that mean the Nether really is beneath the bedrock? (Also, could there be a way to turn off falling from the Aether to the Overworld? In case we like the idea of them not being physically near each other? Of course, if you fell off then, all your items will disappear...)
On peaceful and easy you don't take damage when falling from the Aether. On Normal and Hard, you need to use our Cloud Parachutes.
Reading the OP, it seems that it is not a true Aether, more of an "Inspired by Aether". I hope this becomes more true to the original idea later on in development.
Nope, it's the true Aether. Of course things aren't going to be exactly the same as the thread, we ARE the mod creators after all, so we have the right to add our own ideas too.
