Does it end when you get to the one town that is corrupt? And the one house says Jo...s H..ouse.... is it sopposed to be "Joes house"? if it is thats nice cus its my name :biggrin.gif:
ALSO!!! You were sneaky hiding that entrance to the courtyard lol
Id give this a B+... id love to see more of it soon :biggrin.gif:
Lol just got to Darkwood...now it's getting interesting :smile.gif:
Ah, I was hoping Darkwood would be something people would point out :smile.gif: I took a while to come up with that one, and the storyline will be written out on the full release when I have a few more villages, the castle, and some other things, which I hope to keep in my mind until the full release when you can see it :biggrin.gif:

I'm glad I got such a good rate on my first map :smile.gif: And there will definitely be more :biggrin.gif: and yeah, it is supposed to be that :smile.gif: And so far, it's all I have, but it'll have an extensive storyline, and hopefully some NPC's such as guards, merchants and villagers if I can find a mod for them :smile.gif:

If you do make npc's for them you have to give us the mods for them
Sorry, can't really rate this very accurately. Turns out, I have Mo' creatures installed, and, while seeing a unicorn on my way to Brighton was pretty epic, it really sucks when you get ganked by wolves and lions without a sword :tongue.gif:
i think it was good but have a couple of questions
1 if your not supposed to break very many blocks how come i found a dimond shovel
2 is it cheating if i used a creeper to blow a hole in the wall to get in the courtyard insted of using the secret passage
3 if you find iron or coal or something like that in the walls are you allowed to colect it or are you supposed to just leave it there
4 i found a fence near the first near the hut outside of the first town and the fence was comming out of a cliff and most of it was floating in air is that supposed to be there lol

Yeah, I wouldn't suggest using any mods on the map so far, I may integrate Mo' Creatures into the game, for later in the game, when you can find a tamed Pegasus somewhere after a quest and use it to continue onto the next quest, but other than that, I'm not so sure.

other than that i thought is was awsome
1. The Diamond shovel is there because I just didn't feel like throwing it away somewhere far off, and it might be sell able if I can find a Merchant mod.
2. You're actually supposed to go around to the mountain on the side of the wall of the courtyard and jump in, the secret passage is the way out, and if you use a creeper hole you might wreck the garden.
3. Go ahead, it's one of the only things you're actually supposed to break.
And about the fences, the big gap is a glitch, it's supposed to be a little balancing beam, you know, for fun. I think I might delete that from the final release though, it's kind of stupid looking back on it.
Just played the map, overall its quite nice. The distances for each location are pretty far...But still worth playing. (in hard mode that is)
Well I wanted to make it so the Prison was a good distance away from the other areas. So you couldn't see it at all. Tell me, was there anything about the map that you found interesting?

Ah, I understand.
In all honesty, I enjoyed the whole thing. I mostly liked the Brighton village, though.
Thanks! :biggrin.gif: I'm glad you like it :smile.gif: The Courtyard took me around an hour for the flowers alone, I shudder at the thought of making the castle as detailed as I want it to be, but it's worth it for all the positive feedback :biggrin.gif:
Just played through it. I noticed that up on the hill outside Brighton there is Smeagot's Well and Smeaton's House, I'm assuming it's supposed to be the same name. Also the town walls couldn't keep the monsters out. They used the high ground around to just jump over the fences. Last, the road seemed too claustrophobic. It should probably be 2 or 3 blocks wide, and shouldn't twist around so much. Other than that, keep up the good work and I'll keep an eye on this.
Might not to be able to try it tonight, but based off the posts here, I really, REALLY want to!

Well it is just a test, and there'll be a lot more to do when I finish. More villages and towns. The actual Castle Light, and a surprise feature.
