So, what's with lightning? Is that going to be added? Or is it in now and i just haven't seen it? lol
Also, did you make it where snow falls faster? It seems like I'm getting a lot more snow on the ground now lol. Waiting for the rain to see how the 'melting' update goes.
Only thing left on the todo list is... LIGHTNING!!!!!!!!!
This one is probably going to take a lot longer than usual. Anyone have any ideas for how this should work? Flash of bright light and an explosion is the only thing I can think of that would represent lightning and it doable in minecraft

Flash of light - Definitely
Explosion -
There's not much you CAN do for lightning...I'd say something like the balls of fire that get launched at you in the nether but I'm not fond of fire when i'm living beside a forest. It's going to have to maybe just be a flash for now... With SOUND! If you can, try to incorporate some kind of ambient noises into this mod. Lets get some windy snow sounds and rainy...rain sounds? then some booming booms for teh Tundar.

Be aware that I'm a programmer and basically have no limitations except for the time to accomplish the goal. I can make the explosions relatively small, and light fires, but have the rain put the fire out I like the zigzag idea too
I love the sound idea, I really REALLY need to get a hold of a relaxation rain track to play during rain, and a... snow track to play for the snow lol.

Just noticed that the Weathermod prevents BetterLight from working for some reason, when I say not working I mean the game doesn't crash but the betterlight effect just doesn't do its thing.

Is that with the WildGrass mod or by itself?
@Dogula
Amazing, definitely using that.
@minami26
ModLoader won't show WeatherMod as one of it's mod, because the ModLoader version of WeatherMod is literally a merged version of the two. You have a lot of mods, and even though WeatherMod is compatible with ModLoader, its not compatible with all ModLoader mods. WeatherMod changes these classes:

ill try rummaging through the mods just to make sure weathermod works :biggrin.gif:
im only playing minecraft for survival and weathermod is a must have. ill be taking out my backup .jar and mixt the mods.. :biggrin.gif:
Nice to see this, although sadly I have a very specific mod list that I use and one of those happens to use the bt.class. Good luck with making things more compatible though.

Yes it happens with Wildgrass, even after reapplying wildgrass after Weathermod. Reapplying Betterlight doesn't help either.
I could get out my clean backup and see if it does it wihout wildgrass and the few mods I currently use.

Thanks, but unless you tell me what mod is conflicting I can't really help.
@Drogula
Rain is melting snow by randomly checking 12 locations within 9 chunks every 10 world ticks, if I up the amount of snow removed while still using this system it would become dreadfully laggy. Once I devise a new system for snow removal, I will make all of the snow go away instantly when it starts raining.

Without looking, I'm quite positive that Wild Grass and Betterlight modify the RenderBlocks.class file, which WeatherMod also modifies. Tomorrow I plan on making a merged version of WeatherMod and Wild Grass with Betterlight, and have already PMed the creator of Wild Grass about doing so, but I would like to wait until he has acknowledged that I'm doing so and that he doesn't mind.

I once spawned in entirely the wrong game. Spent the next day mining my way through a space hulk in the name of the god emperor of mankind, only to discover that my use of portals to the nether made me a heretic

I snickered.
