I tried making a lets play of your map, but the recording program I used outputted a broken file that will not play in anything, btw, the ending is broken I think, you cannot build up through the ceiling without having debug mode on. Also I kept respawning in the ground, I had to go into debug mode and fix that too.

If you couldn't beat it, it means you didn't listen to the instructions I included and you put the map into a new version of AC instead of using the old version that came with the download.
Oh to heck with it, tomorrow I'm going to fix the level and make it to where you don't have to have the old version of AC installed. It's such a neat ending when it's done right, build up to avoid a legion of zombies, but it's causing more problems than anything else apparently.
As for that glitch, I could've SWORN I fixed that before I uploaded the file. Where did you respawn? Beneath the stairs?
First of all, sorry to keep posting about my map. I think my map got the most attention for all the wrong reasons.
Anyway. Hopefully final version uploaded, links updated, blah, blah, blah.
I ALMOST ran into a problem when I did a little test playthrough. From what I can tell, with the offhanded item update, unarmed combat is no longer possible. For the very first section of my map, I had two slimes spawn with the player with no weapon but their hands.
But, this is fine, because most of the slimes can't cause damage. And I figure the corridor is too small for the largest one. And if that one DOES spawn, well, the player can try and dodge around it :tongue.gif: I'm evil, yes.
Oh, and Cokeman, I died during the zombie rush to test your glitch, but I couldn't reenact it, so as far as I can tell the respawn is fine. I believe ya, but I don't know what to do about it.
Wow, alot has happened while I was gone. I really don't care whether it came with the jar or not. The reason I believe its illegal is that anyone can download it and if someone doesn't have minecraft already...you get where I'm going. However, if its ONLY the jar file they can't play it still, even if they downloaded the minecraft.exe because it requires logging in to play. I personally believe that putting up a jar for download if its the original or a slightly modded version(basically half of the mods on this forum, as they dont change the game significantly)should be illegal, but if its majorly modded(like AdventureCraft) then it should be okay under certain circumstances.
Bwarch - Have you seen the newest update news? With the new falling blocks spawner or the upcoming pushing blocks, you could probably work something similar to your original ending out.
Eh, that's alright Arsnof. It wasn't TOO important to me or anything, I still basically kept the ending anyway, just a different way of escaping. I'm happy with the level as it is. Thanks for the thought though~

Btw, what's wrong with slimes anyway mister MagicalCake? I think that as long as there's a big group of them, or they're paired with other mobs, they can be pretty fun to add to a level.

He's a member of the SPA. I usually just go into debug mode and skip them.

I always wanted to make one like that because I am also in the SPA. But I'm too busy making some other cooler dungeons. For people in the SPA, I believe you should only kill small slimes if they're spawned by the dungeon AND must be killed(without going into debug mode). Sorry about some of the new maps not being on the OP yet, been busy on PipeHead's Steampunk server. I'll probably get to it either tomorrow, Wednesday, or the weekend.
this is more of a seprate game then a mod...(im dead on right in the center!!!)

my story : i was anialateing the creeper race when poof i was a creeper...at first i was mad then i was very happy cuz boom my brothers buildings wer gone by my mega creeper blast!!!
That's actually a pretty good dungeon, there. A little short, but it does a lot of stuff with the time. The only bad part, really, is the same thing that AdventureCraft itself has: There's no real ending. Once you've defeated the boss, there's no way to make the game end. Even if you showered the player in gold and diamonds, played some victory music and opened up the doors to let them out, they're just stuck there. AC needs an End trigger. Beat the boss, activate the trigger, screen fades to black and says "YOU WIN! Continue/restart?"

No, I was spawning under a block of dirt, outside of the museum.

Cool dungeon. First dungeon to have separate parts. Can't wait to play it when finished.

I always wanted to make one like that because I am also in the SPA. But I'm too busy making some other cooler dungeons. For people in the SPA, I believe you should only kill small slimes if they're spawned by the dungeon AND must be killed(without going into debug mode). Sorry about some of the new maps not being on the OP yet, been busy on PipeHead's Steampunk server. I'll probably get to it either tomorrow, Wednesday, or the weekend.
