lol, just I wish I could get ModLoader working. It's always giving me errors when I try to recompile the files. Most of the errors include 'cannot find symbol', but the first errors is something about the public class mod_'name' extends BaseMod saying it is not abstract and does not override abstract method Version() in BaseMod.
Darn when i read this i thought Great now i have somewhere to put my books (as opposes to a chest) , unfortunatly not :sad.gif:
but its an idea that I'd love a modder to create for me , now that you can write in books (with the aid of another mod) now we need somewhere to store them. Imagine a library of How To books ? lol
Why not go another step and make a bookshelf door? Just a metal door with a bookshelf re-skin and a different recipe.
I've been trying to, but I can't seem to get it to work. Currently I just use the FloodGate, it works really well for hidden doors, and gives much more variety in the walls the door can be in. I probably won't make the door.
Hmm... If possible I think that it would looks cool if you could place a button on a bookshelf. And have it stick out like a button, but in the shape of a book, and only slightly outwards.
That is probably a bit of a stretch though. As that would require a new block model.
Second mod, but much smaller then PlasticCraft. This adds three "hidable" doors that take on the texture of what they were created with.. if you make a stone hidden door, and put it near stone, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference!
Recipes:
= Smoothstone
= Sandstone
= Bookshelf

Looks like stone.

Takes the texture of the side of sandstone.

Also, [MOD] Minecart Booster Track -Requires Modloader uses block IDs 98 and 99 too, and I can't use that with your mod. Would you make another version with different block IDs? It would be better if you could tell me how to change block IDs myself, since I have lots of different mods; I don't know if those would be compatible.

Ok, I just got home from my trip. I will make a version that uses shockah's MoreIDs soon, probably tomorrow. I look around to try to make these IDs work with all other mods(if possible).
The best thing would be a variable block ID version, i know Fancy Pack does it, though that might be a little difficult.
I could look into this, though I probably won't bother any time soon only because I don't have to much time anymore. The best I can do is make alternate versions with different Block IDs.
I have decided to use 126 and 127. Will get uploaded soon.
Let me know if they still conflict, but tell me what IDs are not used (or ID that is not used witht he mods that you use)

I would love to help you witht his, but I jsut don't know anything about Mac's and mods. Sorry. =[
Side note:
I was thinking of changing the recipe to the same recipe as a bookshelf but with only 2 books and either a button or switch in the middle:
= Button or Switch = Book
Doing it this way would save Reeds, which means more Sugar for CAKE!
