i dont expect this to be taken too well, but i woudl like a herobrine mod, it would e kickass!
i would also, if possible, like a way to tame the herobrine, gain his trust, and then he could become ur friend, a way to make him build is to have him copy everything u do, but somewhere else on the map, so if u venture out far enough, you will see an exact copy of ur house, but inhabited by someone much less carefree and welcoming as you may be

exactly. the building thing dosent have to be in, but it would be cool, at least have it so that a zombie with arms at his sides appears sometimes, then walks away and despawns, at the very least, that would be epic
I know I'm necroposting, but in light of more recent MC mods this one could totally be doable.
The actual apparitions could be triggered by precise topographical conditions - say, unobscured straight view for 40 blocks and some kind of a drop or a wall near that to serve as a despawning spot. The spawn should occur if a player turns the camera toward such a topographical formation. Herobrine will then, based on the player's behavior, either run away, perform an action, such as place a torch, dig away a block, drop an object, or just stand there, staring at the player. If player tries to approach the apparition herobrine will simply walk behind the despawning topography and vanish. Same should happen if the player moves 2-3 blocks to either side of his current position (in an attempt to strafe around). The despawn should also occur if the player looks away.
The mod could contain a small library of structures to be placed very rarely around the world, but according to an algorithm calculating an "optimum" location for such a thing (proximity to a cave, source of water etc). Also - torches could be placed in perimeter of such structures, both, above-ground and in caves.
The instances when the mod activity should be extremely rare, but still manifesting at least once per every 20 or so hours of gameplay.
That would be awesome and creepy.
The creator is working on other things right now, but he's planning to make something so you can choose you prefered mobs. As for now, you must life with all the others.

im more into the female companion mod, it adds akickass chick to the game that is kickass and stuff, oh yeah, did i forget to say she's kickass?
if you could just settle for a herobrine look, edit the human mob in minecraft.jar to have no pupils, then download either Mob Spawner GUI or SSP Commands. spawn "Monster" and you have a herobrine that will never stop trying to kill you until he's dead.
