OK block IDs 115 and 116 are used for Lightstone Torches mod. This will cause problems for anyone using both. I posted this in the othermods thread too just so people are aware of the incompatibility. Great mod.
Because 1.4 changed the ID on one of the torches (Purple) so if you had made a Purple Torch and then gotten 1.4 it would crash.
I'mma look back over everything and make sure that would be the only reason.
Also, sorry about the delay on One Way Glass, busy week at college with final projects.
PS: Also, also, since I know everyone would prefer not to lose a save file, I can update and release both the version compatible with Light Stone Torches and the one with Purple Stone Torch as ID 115 so that you can continue playing with this mod and your lovely save.

Wow, this is really awesome, the blue torches are simply amazing :biggrin.gif:.
But, there's only 1 problem, it's major or something though.
When you place one of the colored torches, the smoke coming out of them is still red :b.
Can you change the smoke of every torch to it's color in the next update?
about the one way glass, I will D/L it right now.
EDIT: oh sorry, I didn't see someone had already requested it ><"
About the fire color, unfortunately it's a little more complicated than just changing some code or some image to change the colors. The entityFX code for the fire is strewn through a few different classes and in a rather ambiguous way using functions, fields, and methods.
Fear not though! I am working on it actively!

I found a bug (A rather large one) with the latest version of Color Stone Torch that I think is what is giving everyone issues. I fixed it and it works fine on mine now. I'm uploading it now.
I also had to take out the version name from the mod_ColorStoneTorch file because that was giving me some issues. If y'all really REALLY want that put back in, I can force myself through the relentless torment of remembering every location where that class is called and update it every time I update the mod. I really am sorry for any inconvenience though.
anyways, the mod should be updated by the time anyone reads this.
Edit: Oops, got caught up in uploading I forgot to answer a question

Wooooahhh so cool. 8)
I am new to using mods, how do I use these? (Specifically one-way glass.)
The way you install mods (Particularly these mods) is rather simple.
First you get Risugami's Mod Loader (Link in the original post, follow the instructions there on how to install)
Then once you download my mods, it's a simple matter of opening up the Minecraft.jar using a program such as WinRar or 7Zip and dragging the files into the Minecraft.jar. once done, you boot up Minecraft, get the materials needed to craft the new blocks (Whether legit or InvEdit) and craft away!
The One Way Glass is glass with Smooth Stone to the right of it in the crafting grid. Once crafted, place it anywhere (Be careful though because it shatters like glass.) The side facing you will be the glass side and the other 5 will be the Smooth Stone.
The Color Stone Torches have their crafting recipes in the first post and are toggled on and off through Red Stone (More info on that at the Minecraft Wiki)

Laser Bats, like tiny nocturnal spaceship piranhas.
Like one block that allows to see from the top and another that allows to see from the bottom.
The recipies would be either glass above, or below the smoothstone.
I was going to do something like this but it would take up a lot of Block ID's (Mods have to share and MC is limited to a low amount {127 of which 91 are already in use} of block ID's)
I'm trying to work out a way to use the OWG vertically (Seeing through the floor or through the ceiling) but MC calculates player direction on only 1 axis so it doesn't know when you are looking straight up.
The alternative to this is to make the glass side opposite to whatever surface the block was originally placed on. This would mean that you would have to place a block then place the glass on the block (Having the Glass side face away from the block) then break the block the glass was placed on. Seems like a bit of work for each Glass block but so far it's the only way I can see solving the vertical direction problem.
Edit: Updated to Version 2.1 (Sorry for those who JUST downloaded the JUST released Version 2 but it had a bad glitch about the Blue Torch perpetually burning out the circuits... I don't know why that appeared but it's fixed now)

one-way glass doesn't work for me, it gives me a black screen.
I'm running 35 other mods so it might be a conflict, but you never know...
The only thing that should conflict is the Block ID which would only really do something when you try and place the block.
A black screen probably means that you didn't delete the older version of this mod. But I don't think that's the case because I believe there has only been one version of it. I'll look into this and see what I can find.

You should make more One Way Glasses, like one for Cobblestone, one for Dirt, one for wood, etc.
Yea I've mentioned this in other posts. It getting there.

Yea I dunno... hasn't happened before, the only problem is, I really want this...
Also, One Way Glass now uses 118 instead of 116.
Version 1.4 of ColorStoneTorch is released and V0.5 of OneWayGlass will be when I get back from college.

Ah yes, sorry, as I said I've been very busy this week. That's all behind me now so I'll begin work on the fires right now
Also, as an added bonus to me being through with the biggest project this year, I'm done with the One Way Glass mod as well.
It is being added into the OP as we speak
