Nice work on BetterSkies. I only use the cloud part, but it's really handy being able to edit the height whenever I want through the settings file. No more getting lost in fog trying to harvest my moutaintop farm :biggrin.gif:

You need PReader installed. Make sure to install all dependencies to not just the mod itself
Can'T there be a simple version of high clouds like it was before? This really beats the purpose for me.
You can make betterskies act like the old highclouds mod (not changing the sun/moon at all) by using these settings in the property file and simply ignoring the "terrain" folder that comes packaged with it.
note that cloud_height=115 or 120 is about the level of the "lower highclouds" variant I use; the normal higher level is closer to 125 or 130. minecraft default is between 105-110
Nevermind. The ModCenter website fails to say that PropertyReader is necessary.
I believe you are wrong, sir. Check again. Being a dependency means that it is 100% necessary.

It's not an external library, just another mod, like ModLoader, ToolUtils, or SettingsGui. It conflicts with nothing and will cause you no harm, unless you're allergic to navigating to the /mods/Roundaround/BetterSkies folder and editing a simple text file. The property file is necessary because I refuse to release 30 different versions of the h.class, like I used to. (It was actually only 12, but that's still ridiculous.)
Stop whining and just accept the fact that the change is for the better.

The stairs drop fix will also get included, as I've decided to dissolve BetterStairs into that and FurnitureVariety, which will include stairs, half steps, fences, and doors of nearly every block type. :biggrin.gif: Every block toggleable and ID configurable, of course.

I expressed my reasons for leaving in the OP. That site, even though it is currently in its very early stages of development, has far better functionality than these forums, for various reasons. And we don't have all the ******** there that we have here.
And I will update my mods when I get to it. I'm busy as hell and I don't appreciate you asking, "Can you update Redstone Unleashed?" Shut up, sit down, and be patient for once in your life.
