I'm ashamed to have to make a new topic for this, but the search yielded nothing, and I can't code java.
So my request is if somebody could make/link to a huge slime spawner and a medium slime spawner MCEdit schematic. Or placeable object mod. I just need to be able to place a huge slime spawner anda medium slime spawner.

I was once mining out some iron, and the lava
fell in me.
But I lost 120 pounds in 4 seconds thanks to Lava!

Lemme see what I can do. I want to get started in modding, and I think I might be able to try this.
Do you want it to be just like a normal dungeon spawner that spawns slimes? What do you want the recipe to be?

Normal spawner so people IN browser can use would be nice... :biggrin.gif:

Didn’t you ever wonder where inventory editors got all their blocks?

My question was more about the design aspect of the block, as in texture, etc.
I'm not sure how the browser version works, as any mod that I have used does not work in-browser. Thus, I'm not quite sure how to make a slime spawner that is browser friendly.
However, I have found the code that I need to alter, and I'm making it right now. Still not sure how to spawn larger slimes, but I'll figure that out eventually.
Also, I'm going to make it ModLoader friendly, just to prevent altering other files.

Okay, thanks for the help. (Or al least trying to help) I personallyneed a medium slime spawner and a huge slime spawner, but if it's to hard I'll take any size that isn't small. It needs to be able to hurt.
Also, I too am looking into mod editing, mainly so I can learn java, but I just started last night, so I'm a long way from even starting, and as such, I need help.
I'm so useless!

Personally, I would do the opposite (i.e. learn Java so you can mod), but I suppose modding is a good way to learn object-oriented programming and how to read other people's code.
I have the mod mostly done, I just need to learn how to use the Block registering method in ModLoader and then test out the block. The spawner uses the same conditions that slimes use to spawn, though I'm not sure what those conditions are. I also have a huge project due for psychology, so I'll probably finish it tomorrow, when I have a bit more time to package everything up and test it.

Okay, it's good to know that it won't be 2 weeks or something. I can understand psychology projct, or a little less specifically huge projects that are a pain and waste my free time. But they have to be done. So just take your time. I'd rather have a working slime spawner in 3 days than one which spawns ghasts instead of slimes that was hastily thrown together. But thanks for the help, again!

Ya, I despise it when that happens. I always copy and any post I do ( highlight everything, right click, I'm sure you know how) And if it happens, then I paste it when I try reposting. I can't say for sure, but I think if somebody posted ore edited their previous post is when it happens.
So ya. Good to know they are almost done. *Highlights everyhing and hits copy*

If anyone was watching this thread, waiting for a response, I've finish the mod.
Bugs (soft of):
Since Minecraft was updated twice halfway through the mod, I didn't feel like rewriting the code for the new versions. Therefore, it's only compatible with version 1.2.3. Also, I wasn't sure about how to use some methods of ModLoader, so everything is hard coded. I may fix these problems later, like when I have a break from school.
For large slime spawner
where = Slime Ball and = Mob Spawner
Obviously, InvEdit is needed for the spawners and, most likely, the slime balls. This is for lack of better ideas for recipes.
hanks for making the mod, now I can finish my project. If you're wondering specifically why, I needed them for a dungeon tower I'm making, where there will be one slime spawner in the center of the room spawnig huge slimes, and a few scattered about spawning medium.
So thanks for making these, again. (I give to much thanks...)

You need WinRAR or 7Zip to open the file. And it's only compatible with 1.2.3, and I'm guessing you're in 1.2.6 (the newest update) so it won't work.
Hey everyone! I'm working on a new version for 1.2.6. I'm also looking into ModLoader compatibility so you can use it with other mods. Don't be expecting it too fast though, because, as a student, I don't have that much time to code during weekdays.
So my request is if somebody could make/link to a huge slime spawner and a medium slime spawner MCEdit schematic. Or placeable object mod. I just need to be able to place a huge slime spawner anda medium slime spawner.
I know loleditor can make one, but dunno if it works....
I support this haha.

You can download it from here:
