'Aight guys, tekwerk here, and I'm making a terrain pack.
The whole idea I was going for was creepy/gritty, not the playful and cheery minecraft world we know now but a dark and foreboding realm which just sends shivers down your spine.
I've got all of the terrain.png done. Only blocks I didn't do were the mob spawner (which looks creepy enough IMHO) and the sponge (which isn't used anyways)
Hmm.. well the preview was kinda limited as to the prograss you've made so far, but I still liked it.
The video gave off a bit of a Penumbera feel to it so I think you should keep going! :tongue.gif:
Sorry I don't have too much footage, I wanna keep it a bit under wraps until I finish it. Usually when I release footage of things I don't end up getting them done.
The term "mod" stands for modification. When put into context with video games, they encompass anything that changes the game in any way, including textures.
In this case, a texture pack is a specific type of mod, but the OP was not wrong in using the term mod.

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
It's dark, but not dark enough. You need to make scary as if all holy hell just came crashing down on Earth. Scarier then the Nether. Then I will be content.
